This Instant Pot has a stainless steel pan. Everything I cook in it burns on the bottom. I've tried to add more liquid and when I release it to vent, what a mess flies out of the cooker vent. Too late to return it, so I'll donate it to a charity just to get rid of it. :-(

Do not buy. I upgraded an earlier model and am so sorry I did. The seal often times does not seal properly so food burns on the bottom, especially when the pot is full. The sauté option is not hot enough to actually brown foods. It’s terrible. I will try a different brand pressure cooking next.
