We had been debating an air fryer for quite some time and already have a dedicated instapot. I was a bit tired of smoking out the house searing steaks on a cast iron. This grill is extremely capable and cooks very fast. The capacity is enough for 4 burgers, or 2 very large ribeyes. I think it's about perfect for 2-3 people. Feeding a larger family may take a 2nd cooking cycle to get enough food but it cooks fast enough to make this feesible especially if making a 2nd batch or fries, onion rings, okra. It functions much like broiling in an oven with the heat source and fan on the top and will get over 500 degrees so you will get some grill marks on the meat. I've seen reviews complaining that it does smoke... Yes you will see some very small wisps of awesomeness escaping from the vents. I originally considered using this on a screened patio but now use it directly under cabinets with zero concern of heat or smoke causing issues. Cleanup is very easy. I like to add some water and a tad of dawn while it's still warm so it can soak while it cools and everything wipes down easily with a sponge. There is a main "pot" similar to a rice cooker that keeps all the mess easily contained. We find ourselves using our oven half as much now so if you're considering this because you don't have an oven you'll love these capabilities. Also comparing results and longevity to friends with air fryers, this unit is far superior and worth the money. We had some friends considering the ninja and convinced them to go for it and they're also in love with it with the speed it preheats and cooks being a huge factor for them.

I absolutely love this thing. I don't enjoy cooking very much, so I'm always looking for anything that makes eating freshly prepared food easier. This grill/fryer is simply the best thing in my kitchen. The integrated smart probe makes cooking almost foolproof. I can stick a piece of filet mignon in there without any oil, stick the probe into the center, set it to my desired doneness (medium = 140 degrees), and within minutes I have a perfectly cooked piece of steak. Seared outside, grill marks, juicy inside, and the perfect temperature. It's incredibly easy. I don't have any problems with smoke as long as I use the recommended oils in the manual (not olive oil) or no oil at all. My advice: READ THE MANUAL. It is simply stated... a real easy read. It helps you get the most out of this thing so you aren't having to play guessing games. Like with the medium steak, you set it to the recommended temperature of 140 degrees and when the probe detects that temperature, it beeps and you remove the steak, let it sit until it hits 145, and you are done. I am just starting to use it for air frying, too. It is just so much better than eating frozen garbage heated in the microwave. Next, I am going to give the dehydrating a try on some apples to see how that works. I can't say enough good things about this grill/fryer. Take it from someone who hates cooking: get this thing NOW.

The media could not be loaded. Can't explain how happy I am with this purchase. I must admit, I literally JUST received the Ninja Foodie Grill I today, aonindont have a "lot" of experience with it as of this review. I will like to point out a few key factors. • Looking over some of the reviews, I was a lil nervous about the size of the unit. I live in a shoebox of an apt with little to no counter space, lol...I made it work. Idk. I have a toaster over, Keurig, microwave etc...and I made it work. • The "noise" that comes from it...? Ok...it "hums" 🤷♂️ So does a microwave. Maybe it's because I've seen/heard one work before, that I was expecting a sound to generate from it, to to me, it wasn't bothersome. • Smoke? None that bothered me. They tell you which oils to use and not to use, if you were to use...So if one follows directions, one won't receive a lot of smoke. • Time variants. Yes. I'm pretty use to using recipes as "stepping stones". Rarely do I follow them to a T, so by growing up like that, I check my food, periodically and don't worry about over/under cooking. • Clean up was EASY!!! I literally used my sprayer in the sink, and most of the waste came right off. Used a non abrasive sponge to do most the cleaning, but unit also comes with a brush. • I was able to fit 4 HUGE boneless chicken breast in the unit (that we're still partially frozen, so I couldn't really manipulate them) without problems. I can go on with the PROS and I yet haven't found any CONS, again, today was my 1st time using it. It came in the mail...I washed, dried and put it to use. I highly recommend thus far. Super easy. Heathy. Chicken was MOIST!!! I charred the outside the way I like, while maintaining a moist, juicy center. Happy shopping!

I wanted to grill some burgers and steaks - my HOA does not allow outdoor grills any longer. I almost purchased a small George Forman type grill. I saw the Ninja iFoodi grill I’ll and decided to give it a try - great purchase! I have air fried wings and made burgers and streaks so far with great results. I have used everyday for the past two weeks. Highly recommend. No smoke - us a high heat oil if necessary (avocado - grape seed)

I had wanted a air fryer for a while and I have the Ninja blender food processor combo and absolutely love it so ninja was my choice, but also I really liked the idea of having an indoor grill cuz I live in an apartment and even though I'm not a meat eater I do miss getting to have grilled veggies especially for something like fajitas. So this particular item fit the bill perfectly because also using my oven heats up my very tiny apartment way too much in the summer so having the bake and roast option for this was also going to be very handy. It was originally going to get the four in one but was running into a problem of locating it I already have a food dehydrator but then I got to thinking well if I want to make my own jerky and I already have my other dehydrator full of veggies I could utilize the dehydrate here for making vegan jerky while the other is working for the veggies so this became a win-win! And then Amazon wanted a little over 200 for this item so I decided to scroll down and found another seller who also had prime shipping so I got free shipping and I only spent $160 instead of $220 that in itself made me do a happy dance. I use this item almost exclusively now for cooking and I couldn't be happier with it as I say in my title best kitchen purchase I've done in a long time.
