This worked well as a fryer, but removing the food and stirring the food was much harder than the typical drawer fryer. Normally you can slide it out with the handle and have full access from the top, this however keeps the burner close enough to burn the user, as well as it's tricky to safely remove the fry box to clean in between courses, say your veggies and meat for the meal. After my hubby burnt himself several times we sent the item back to get the one we previously had but gave to our son, COSORI, which I would recommend it is AMAZING!

Very big little instruction. ... poorly written hard to clean smokes Was going to return, but too sick to get out. It has major issues , but is ok as roaster . I'd like to see better instructions and it not smoke. I put in steaks with nothing at all, over cooked on the right setting and smokes wildly

I couldn't WAIT for this to arrive! When it did I ran out & grabbed a bunch of meats... Now I'm deciding whether to return it or sell it! What a let down. First, no one ever warns you about how LOUD this thing is, oh my stars! The roasting feature is pointless. And the other feature I really wanted it for, the grilling, left a bizarre, fake smoke, almost chemical taste in my ground bison. I'm glad so many others are thrilled with theirs - but if you COOK, I mean really cook, because you love food and the flavors that cooking brings out in it, etc... this is probably not going to make you happy, either? I don't know, I'm just sharing my experience. As someone who loves cooking - shortcuts seldom work it seems. *shrug*

Takes up a lot of counter space. Afraid the heat will hard the cabinets above.

not thrilled with this operation, have Ninja Fryer that performs better, very dissappointed with this item.

Cook meat to hard!

Noisy. Did a nice job with steak but small for any other actual baking etc. Returned.
