It’s ok, but it’s not as user friendly as other foodi products. When you have to turn your meat, the timer doesn’t remind you. You have to set another one. The smell is difficult to get out of the grill, even after scrubbing with baking soda. The probe doesn’t work. I’ve had better luck just lifting the lid and checking the meat. If you want to make another batch immediately after one finishes, you have to preheat it again. Making chicken in a skillet was faster and easier than using the foodi and tasted better.

My sell for this was that I could take a frozen chicken breast and cook it perfectly in 25 minutes. I put in some chicken breasts, frozen, and cooked like it said to and it set off my smoke alarms in the house! Okay, fire up the vent fan and check the chicken - cooked on the outside maybe 1/8th inch and the rest was still FROZEN. I had to turn it WAY down and cook a lot longer to finish the job. I've not used it since, but I'll try again - just with unfrozen meat.

Our product has been glitchy after a few months of use. Its past the return dste from amazon or we'd return it. For the money and brand this thing should be/work perfect. It wont turn off via the buttons, we have to unplug it. The screen flashes like crazy sometimes like a strobe light. It has worked over all, but we fear the build quality may see this thing take a dive in the months to come. Fingers crossed. If it does, we will never spend high dollar on a ninja again.

It's okay, but not great. I bought this to be able to cook since my living situation is basically that of a college dorm room. It looks nice and heats up quickly, but it doesn't cook very well. I use it mostly for fish and I end up crunchy fish on the outside and cold fish on the inside. Seems like I have to start using smaller pieces in order to get a good cook. Overall I'm not very impressed and will most likely continue to use my toaster oven.

I had to replace my old unit and the grill is much thinner on new one and burns the food easily.

We just got the ninja today, and I read all the instructions. And I found out you can't air fry and Grill at the same time. Which is a real problem. If you fry french fries, then take it apart and Grill the steaks, the french fries will be cold. If you grill the steaks first, take it apart and air fry then the steaks will be cold. I wish I would have known that before we bought it. I'm sure after we used it will be happy with it to an extent. However I was under the impression you could air Fry & Grill at the same time. This is not the case. Update it does steaks great. We are going to try and air fry fish and fry's together . My wife seems happy with it. I am upgrading to 3 stars, but still wish you could Grill and air fry at the same time.

I’ve had the Foodi Grill for the past few months, it works. With that being said, it’s a bit overpriced for what you get. It was cheaper to buy it from Amazon compared to other places. The cleanup takes some effort if you don’t have a dishwasher. The protective screen does not clean, it’s now a permanent yellowish brown color. I started using this indoors but now I set it up outside because it smells up the whole house. Funny how all the tutorials on You Tube fail to mention that part. I don’t think I would have purchased it had I known that. The design looks like it prevents the smoke and odors which is why they label it as an “indoor” grill but it doesn’t. I gave it 3 stars for the way it cooks but not for indoors.

Unfortunately this fryer isn't as good as it's made out to be. Following all the instruction in how to clean it, it still emits some fumes and a lot of heat to it's surrounding area. And the cooking times in the guide needs to be adjusted for what you expect to achieve. Lastly, and most disturbing of all, the splatter shield is not made well and there are very sharp pieces of wire sticking up near the edge where you can easily injure yourself when handling it. Be careful!

Cooking steak all the time, leaves a greasy mess on the lid that can't be cleaned because it is at a weird angle and can't be submerged. Steaks have a weird taste unless you use a lot of spices, etc. I use salt only.

I bought the Ninja grill as "used - like new". However, the grill itself and the outside were very dirty. I'm pretty disappointed with the product and wish there was more transparency.
