I'm a fan of lighter, bolder colors, so this turquoise razor was very nice. I'm an "on-the-go" person, so being able to shave at the sink, dry or even in the shower was very versatile. I've used braun products before and was currently using a 4 year old razor and was replacing the heads and shaving coils each year. I noticed I had to go over and over trouble spots, especially my neck to shave. The 3040 series definitely is cutting back on how many times I needed to go over the same area. I've only used this for a few days, and will update if I notice any changes. Very good product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon receiving the Braun® Series 3-3040 for free in the mail to review I immediately tore open the package to charge it and get to shaving! While waiting patiently for the shaver to charge two things caught my attention while reading the package. The first was the fact that it is able to be used dry, wet or wet with actual shaving cream, and the second being the trimmer that is attached to it. The anticipation of the functionality of this shaver was more than I could handle, and boy did it deliver. The attached trimmer, unlike the trimmers on other electric shavers that I have used in the past, works like a dream! I always have mostly a full beard and use a secondary beard trimmer in conjunction with a shaver, with the Braun® Series 3-3040 I am no longer in need of two tools. The other great thing about the Braun® Series 3-3040 is the fact that it can be used wet or dry. This is an amazing fete in itself. Using this shaver dry doesn't get 100% of the stubble, but, if you get the remaining stubble wet the Braun® Series 3-3040 rids the neck of the rest of what is left behind. Lastly the contouring foils are much better than the standard stationary foils on other shavers. There is virtually no razor burn due to the mobility of the parts. All around this razor comes with my highest of recommendations of any and all razors that I have ever used. I will happily continue to use the Braun® Series 3-3040 weekly and I will continue to sing its praises.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this is a great Electric Shaver. I was to excited to be part of this campaign. After receiving the shaver I was happy to find it charged and ready to use straight out of the box. After giving it a try I was pleasantly surprised on how good it worked. I did have to go over a few spots twice but after I was done my face felt really smooth just about as smooth as a manual razor. It was nice that it didn't snag my hair or irritate my skin which other electric razors have done in the past. It also has a nice little trimmer on the back for sideburns and stuff. The charge lasts about a week depending on how often you are using it witch I thought was great. It's also very easy to clean just pop the head of the razor off and brush it with the brush they sent in the box it only takes a couple minutes. Overall this is a great Electric Razor by Braun. I would highly recommend it.

I've had problems in the past with electric shavers giving my neck razor burn but haven't had any since receiving my free Braun Series 3. The trimmer on the back side is great as well to get through the longer stuff before going to a close shave. Thumbs up from me here!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all I think this shaver is a great travel shaver, the best I’ve ever used. Since the Braun 3 shaver was made to be user in the shower, I tried the shaver in both wet and dry applications with varying hair lengths. When it arrived I did not charge the shaver. The shaver comes about 50% charged already. The first thing I noticed was the compact size, and the rubber grips on the sides to prevent the shaver from slipping in the shower. Now as far as performance. I shave once a week in the shower, so I need a shaver that can handle moderately long hair and waterproof. The shaver requires some “scrubbing” against the face, but does achieve a very close shave. The pop out trimmer is great for places the shaver head cannot comfortably glide. Next, I waited another week and tried to achieve the same results out of the shower. Without the water a bit more “scrubbing” is involved, and the closeness is not the same; however, time it actually takes to shave is reduced. This is why I say this is a great travel shaver, since it will work right before an interview to help you look great in your car, or on a trip so you don’t have to buy disposables. I achieved similar results with 2 day hair growth. The wet was closer, and the dry was quicker. Two things that really astonished me was clean up and battery life. For clean up you press the two side of the head, then run some water (about 10 seconds start to finish). Over this entire process, I did not charge the shaver once, sI still haven’t charged it, and it held it’s charge over weeks (remember I started with about 50% to start with). I am glad I was given this opportunity by BzzAgent, and still enjoying the Braun 3040 shaver.

I never tried a Braun series razor before but I was impressed and it did not damage my skin like other razors I have tried before.

I have a smaller trimmer that I used before I shaved to make it easier, but with this shaver I didn't even need to use the trimmer before hand. The Braun Shaver gives me a clean cut and my wife loves how smooth it leaves my face, especially since I'm actually keeping my face shaved now that it's so easy. This shaver also has a good weight and size to it and feels well made not cheap. And I also liked that it was already charged and ready to use when it arrived. I would definitely buy this shaver knowing what I know now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just can't say enough good things about this shaver! First lets start with the shaver itself. For being cordless with a battery in it, it is extremely light and small. No bigger than your average tv remote. The blue rubber strip that surrounds the shaver is nice and soft. Feels great to the touch. And when I used it in the shower, it had a great grip, did not slip out of my hand. Cleaning it was simple, just run under hot water. Second is the save. I have used electric shavers for 20+ years, but this is the first one that I could use wet. I was skeptical at first, but it gave me the closest shave by an electric shaver ever. Both wet and dry were far better than my current shaver. Closer shave that lasted longer. It has 3 rows of blades that move and easily got all the contours of my face. And with it being cordless, I had an easy time shaving with no problems. Highly recommended for anyone looking to get an electric shaver.
