[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the product for free from to try out. Out of the box the shaver was very durable and clean and grip surface is good in the hand. My shave was painless and it worked just as well as the typical razor. This was a great way to take a shave, I could actually see where I was shaving. The shaving process itself with the foil razor was really fast. When I took the extra time with the razor, it did leave my face feeling smooth and without stubble. I hope to be using this shaver for many happy years!

I like to keep my face smooth and hairless so a quick shave with this Braun is all I need. I don't have to worry about shaving cream or gel. It gives me a nice clean shave without the "5 o'clock shadow". It's a decent buy for the price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Braun Series 3 for three weeks and it is a great shaver. It provides a nice close shave when the hair is not too long. I use it twice a week and it provides the perfect shave. I really like how you can use shaving cream with it. I started out using it with no shaving cream and there was some tugging, which I did not like. I decided to use shaving cream and the shave was more comfortable with no tugging. I get a closer shave with shaving cream and the razor glides over the skin, so there is no irritation. This razor is water proof, so it can be used in the shower if one desired. I have not used it in the shower, but I like that it is option. The razor seems to be very well made, with a nice weight to it. The battery is great, I get two shaves on every charge. I really like how it has an LCD display, so I no longer have to worry about the battery dying mid shave. This has become my go to shaver and I recommend it to anyone looking for a new shaver.

The handle fits snug in your hand either in the shower where I did not have a problem gripping it wet. The motor is powerful and the battery is long lasting.This was my 1st time ever using an electric shaver.So being inexperienced it took me about 20 min in the shower, using shaving cream to shave my 3 day old beard. It takes a lot longer than using a regular razor. I don't mind the extra time shaving because I really enjoy using this Braun Series 3-3040. The shaver is lightweight and comfortable in your hand. When hitting my chin and nose area, the shaver responded with ease and not one hair was pulled thanks to their Triple Action FreeFloat System.The model was designed for use in the shower, so as expected, it excels when used for wet shaving. Guys who shave daily will have no trouble maintaining smooth skin with this razor. Those who shave a day here and there can also get good results with the razor, but one should expect a lengthier process.My 3 day beard to multiple passed across the thicker parts of my beard. All in all this works pretty good and I have put down my disposable razor for good for this shaver. Although I generally don't use an electric razor I was fairly impressed with this item. I have used it primarily for dry shaving and have had good results with each shave. The attached trimmer is also a nice feature. It's not very heavy and is comfortable to hold.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using this Razer for a month or so I can say I continue to be happy with it. I am still disappointed that there aren't any atachments for the head for a trimmer. I have come to love the slide up edge trimmer. It gets way closer that my current razor does and the waterproof design is very helpful for cleaning. The razor is gentle enough on the skin that bit does not cause any irratation or ingrown hairs. Until they come out with a head for trimming , I will just continue to use the Braun for cleaning up around the edges.

Pretty much what you would expect from a mechanical razor but its lightweight, Water proof so you can shave in the shower which is really convenient, Cuts nicely even if you do it quickly so you can shave faster than a standard razor, Stays charged for a surprisingly long time but it does of course become weaker if you do not charge it, Overall for the price you cant beat it, Its solid, Small, Convenient, efficient, Its great. Only downside is it is not as clean of a shave as a regular razor, So if you do not have much facial hair no need for this razor, Just use regular non mechanical razors.

nice shaver, but after 2 years battery almost died. Now must charge before every shave. 2-3 hours of charging = 10 minuter of shaving :(

This is the third one of these I have bought in recent years I am happy with it. I had a problem with the first one the slide trimmer came off..So I’ll have to wait and see if this one will hold up, If it does I’ll give it 5 stars I’ve always liked this model and it is a great shaver the item was delivered quickly and I am satisfied
