Does not seem stop mice, at least for me. One in the house and one in garage.

This battery operated repeller doesn't work, it goes through the cycles of flashing light, but the birds and other animals still comes to eat and destroy my fruits.

To be fair I bought this for the wild cats in my area that like to park under my truck but after getting this I haven't seen much of the cats so I didn't use it for awhile. I have no idea what this does for feral cats but for mice, it's worthless and in my experience so far, it probably attracts mice rather than runs them off. I mean, just for grins, I put this in one of the bedrooms and left it on for a few weeks. I've been living in this house off and on for 50 years and in all that time I've only seen one rodent and that was 2016. I put this on in one of the bedrooms and afterwards I spotted a mouse in the living room which I was able to trap fairly quickly but then I got another one in the pantry that ignored all my traps so I put this so called 'repeller' in there too. All this did was turn my pantry into a food disco. Not only did it not drive the mouse off but while this 'repeller' was sniping away I could hear the mouse at the same time trying to bite it's way into something. The mouse was basically giving me the finger. I finally caught that one, but I didn't turn this back on. I don't need the headache. Coincidence maybe but like I said I put this 'repeller' in a small room with known mice and they acted like it was a rave party. So one worthless sonic rodent attractor for sale; used once.

I had the perfect opportunity to test this device. Stick with me because this story is kind of gross.Last week I opened my wall oven door to find a mouse strolling around. So I slammed the door and thought, what now? I have some live traps (I live in an older house if you haven't guessed already) so overnight I set up the trap right inside the oven. Voila, by the next morning I caught the mouse and released it very far from the house. I put the trap back in the oven "just to see". In the space of 3 days I caught 4 more mice inside the oven. Obviously the mice have made my oven Grand Central Station. Then I got brilliant. I had already purchased this Thanos Under Hood Animal Repeller that I was saving to put in my car in the garage over the wintertime so the mice wouldn't build a tri-story nest in the air cabin filter like they did last year. So I loaded new batteries in the Under Hood Repeller, made sure it was working properly (lights blinking, etc), and placed it right inside the oven on the oven floor. I then placed my live trap on the oven rack approximately 2 inches above the Repeller.Well, folks, I think you can guess the end of my story. The next morning I opened the oven door to find a mouse sitting pretty in the mousetrap while this worthless piece of junk was still blinking lights and supposedly emitting ultrasonic waves. My advice? Run away from this absolutely useless piece of plastic. It doesn't work.

This device did not work at all for me. After cleaning up the rodent droppings, I installed the device just 10 inches away from the place under the hood of my car where the rodents used to "spend" the night. The next morning (and the next few days), I checked and found the droppings again, indicating that the rodents didn't even notice the presence of this device!

When installed using internal batteries, it seems to work initially but kills the batteries within a couple of days. When wired into the vehicle's electrical system using the included power cord with in-line fuse, it also seems to work initially but then blows the fuse.

I placed two units along the one and only single path I used to find mice and put a sticky mouse pad as a final measure after these two. I did find a mouse on the pad meaning it just got by these units along the narrow long path without getting disturbed.
