Beware: There is no ‘gold’. What you may think is a shiny foil gold in the picture is only printed yellow and brown to mimic a reflective gold. The yellow is not even golden, it is more of a lime-yellow, as well.

I got this to deter squirrels digging up my garden. I saw one the other day eating a zucchini. It's just annoying enough to bother the neighborhood cat and be slightly irritating when I'm a few feet away from it, but not enough for the squirrels, apparently.

The only negative is that the balls on the ends of the banner needed to be glued because the wind blew the banners down several times until my husband glued the ends. Otherwise, the look was perfect!
Dr Star
The banners are pretty but the white string they use to hang up is super cheap and the side balls kept falling off. We were never able to put one of them up because it continued to break.

It was supposed to be a battery operated unit but actually maybe it needs a car battery to be connected? Totally confusing, we sent it back.

Battery life in unused (storage) RV vehicle is about two weeks +/-

Doesn't bother dog who sleeps in garage but apparently not the mice either. I still see them run thru garage to grab corn or bird seed. Only see 1 so maybe it's helping.

After squirrels chewed through hubby's electric power steering I ordered these. As I was trying to attach to my car the zip tie thing broken and it fell into the engine compartment. I just put a sign in my car window to let any passerby know that no, there isn't a ticking bomb under my hood, but rather the dying batteries on a rodent repellent. So maybe it has been working? But it is a one-shot thing unless it happens to fall out of the bottom of the engine compartment. Lesson: USE TWO HANDS while attaching.

I've used several different rodent repellers but decided on the Thanos 4 pack because of it's ability to work using several different power sources. The Thanos packaging and product design are very nice and well thought out. Initially when turned on it gives a loud beeping and flashes brightly. Afterwards it dimly flashed and makes a clicking noise. The other rodent repellers I've used flashed brightly and made a high pitched noise I could here. They were also motion sensitive whereas Thanos is timed to go off every 100 seconds. I'm going to try these for 60 days and update my review.
