When I first moved into my house, the Wi-Fi was set up way far away from my office. This little adapter allowed me to get working again immediately until we could get somebody to get a wire out to my office for the very best speeds and connectivity. It was easy to set up and worked as expected.

Perfect little adapter. I've used it on both a Raspberry Pi and a Windows 10 PC. The only problem I've had is that the PC usually reports no internet connection until I disconnect and reconnect after every restart, but that might just be the OS. Totally satisfied.

It's fast. 120 mbs! Here are two screen captures on my internet download speed. My regular WiFi adapter stopped working this morning, so I had little choice but to install this Tenda Dual Band WiFi USB. Today my internet speed is down from its regular 175 mbs download speed to about 120 mbs - nothing to do with this adapter. I tested the speed on another desktop computer in the same room to be sure. If I had tested this yesterday, I think I would have gotten 170 mbs like my other adapter did before it failed today. I was doing some overclocking test and after that is when my old one stopped working. I should not have done any tweaking. I probably messed up the driver somehow. I reinstalled the driver today and it still wouldn't work. So then I was motivated to open up the Tenda box and test it. I'll update the speed tests after I get a new modem. But for now, I'm completely impressed with 120 GHz download speed and 20 mbs upload speed, but I think it will go faster. Just an off day with my new internet speed I just signed up for two days ago. This WiFi adapter is downstairs and the cable modem is upstairs. I think I may have to go to Suddenlink to ask for a faster modem. I think this cable modem is limited to 175 mbs. It's several years old. They now offer 1000 mbs service here, but it's kind of expensive at $100 per month. I signed up for 400 mps service is about $75 per month. but I'm not even getting half that speed. I think my modem is out of date. I'll have to argue with them for an hour or two at least. Suddenlink won't install anything but very old previously owned modems for current customers. They only give out new modems to new customers. So I managed to get 120 mbs on the 2 GHz channel, which I think anybody would agree is outstanding. For some reason, it was faster on 2 GHz than on the 5 GHz channel today. Uplink speed was at my maximum service limit of 20 GHz upload speed.

Super easy set up. Nice strong signal from one floor away in a medium sized house.I have found this to be a perfect little solution to a computer you can't run a wire to and it has no built in wifi. From start to finish it took less than 10 minutes to set this up.Speed testing it puts it in line with other wireless devices in the house so far and it doesn't seem to suffer from any slow down issues or anything like that.So far so good.

My Wifi adapter for my PC broke and although I had others they did not work like Tenda and that was the brand that broke so I purchased this Tenda Wifi adapted and it's perfect.....stay with what works cause there are a lot of different adapters out there and you have to find out which one is best for your device. Thank you Tenda.
