Nice Mixer

I chose this mixer and asked for it for Christmas. It is light weight and I like the suction cups that keep it on the counter. It is the same configuration as the pricier mixers but not as bulky and heavy. However, be aware that the mixing paddle and dough hook are NOT dishwasher safe, the painted finish comes off. This information is in the instruction booklet which I neglected to read :(

My first hands free mixer

I used the mixer for Thanksgiving ! It did it's part when I needed my hands for other things. I like using it for making rolls more than for my pies. It does make noise but it's still quiter than my children (lol) so it's not that big of a deal. You will have to help it a bit sometimes with wetter batters but all in all not so bad for the price I guess !

Very light weight and efficient

Very pleased with this mixer. I have 2 bowl lift Kitchenaid mixers and one tilt head. This little thing can not match their performance but for general mixing it is great. I bought it for my beach house. It whips meringue and egg whites well also cookie dough and cake batter well. I have not tried bread dough. I love how light weight it is. The suction cups hold well to granite counter tops. It is compact enough to store in my lower kitchen cabinet. The beaters seem to do a good job of covering the bowl well, needing very little hand bowl scraping to combine all. If you are budget minded it is a great purchase. It is so quick and light and easy to get out and set up, I never use my hand mixer any more. I can set this up quicker than I can get out a bowl, my hand mixer and attach the beaters and I don’t have to keep moving my arm around the bowl as in hand mixing. The only draw backs I see is it does not allow for attachments but then the price point would go up and it is less than a 4 qt bowl mixing surface as the beater sits well below the bowl lip so a double cookie recipe may not be possible.
