Item arrived damages

The box did not come damaged but when I opened it and went to put it on, I realized there is a hole at the bottom of one of the pockets that a weight sits in. The weight/sandbag can just slip right out! So disappointed that I can’t even use it properly!

Bad design

It works on ankle but it's uncomfortable. They are too big on the arm. It doesn't get tight enough for forearms.

Inserts are not solid pieces

The inserts are not solid pieces that slide out for adjusting weights. They are small bags of sand that are difficult to reinsert, making adjusting weights impractical. Well made heavy fabric. Great if you want only a 10 lb weight.

These can work for you (sort of)

These were not great when I tried them around my ankles. It's difficult to make them very tight, so they will essentially rest on the top of your shoes. For me, some of my exercises are without shoes. In that case, it felt like they were going to slip off. Around my arms did not work well either. HOWEVER, I was able to fashion the two ankle pieces into a single weight belt of sorts (see pictures). It was actually quite comfortable and held well because the velcro straps are strong. Not sure if the "belt" idea will work for all body sizes, but it did work for me being an average sized guy. My recommendation would be to simply pursue buying a weighted vest but these ankle weights can work for some wearing shoes, or work for others (with modification).

Can't use them...no connection

There are no straps to connect them on your ankle

Difficult to put on - takes too much time

My old pair had one Velcro strip to wrap around the ankle weights and one vwas good to go. These have 2 straps per leg and often come loose while trying to secure the second strap. I rarely use them, unfortunately, becasue by the time i get them on the class has gone through half the leg exercises.

Serve their purpose but not convenient for daily use outside of exercise.

I had a really nice, discreet pair from Ross that has begun to wear. This pair from Amazon is ok, but they are not quick to put on or remove. I'll be looking for a better pair, but they'll suffice for now.

It's been 3 months and it's gone.

I bought it 3 months ago and it's torn. Black powder leaked out and it damaged my socks and shoes. It's too late to return. Frustrated.

Pain to use

I like that you can adjust the weight but they are a pain to put on and remove. I’ve had others that don’t have this issue

Oops...not complete.

This ankle weight is fine...and about the right weight for my work-out (I'd been concerned that it might be too heavy....or too light), but ONLY one arrived....when they're supposed to be a set of two ...for people who have TWO ankles. Amazon gave me a credit...and suggested I order again...but JEEZE...what an ODDBALL deal!!!
