So.. I’m from Italy,I drink coffee for breakfast, after my lunch and my dinner. This coffee was so good,so creamy I was really happy for the gift I received. Than happened my little toddler woke up at 4 am and all I was thinking soon I see him come back to sleep was to make me a coffee. Nothing are 3 pm the light still blue . No way for make the machine work back . Totally disappointed.

Bought for XMAS, and it makes great coffee. After the first few times to empty used canister I noticed the plastic holder has 1/2 inch of old coffee inside. Also, after about a month, the machine makes a load roar when it makes coffee. I talked with a guy at the store and he said the Next had these problems. I wish he told us when he sold us the machine. I get about 7.0 oz of coffee per cup, the other 0.7 goes in the "waste can"

I used this daily with no issues for 6 months, and one day it just leaked everywhere and then stopped working. Had to replace with a different model. Would not recommend.

This machine has been faulty from the beginning, but I kept giving it chances because I wanted to like it so bad. The top part where you put the pod in, never closes properly, taking 3-4 times of twisting the lever to even make it close properly to start making coffee. That is, if it even starts making coffee. Half the time the machine just blinks and does not make coffee, and I have to hit the button a few times, even having to open and close the top pod part. I’m reaching out to nespresso for a replacement, maybe they’ll send a credit or a different machine.

First off, it does make very good coffee when the machine works. However, I am on my second machine in 9 months with a third on the way due to them failing. The first machine quit being able to consistently read the bar code after ~4 months and then developed internal leaks. We chatted with Nespresso CS and they were great and sent out a replacement machine right away. Machine #2 works well for ~5 months before it starts having issues reading the bar codes and will no longer brew. We again called Customer Service, video chatted, and they are now sending us another new machine, but the older version per our request and their recommendation since it is much more reliable. Keep in mind that on both machines we did a cleaning cycle frequently and it was only used 1-2 times per day so the failures seem unwarranted. Hopefully the new machine is better because the coffee really is great.

It lasted about 1 years, then it started leaking water and year after that stopped working altogether.

I love my nespresso and frother ….When it works. I got this around thanksgiving and I’d say 50-60% of the time my frother will stop for no reason midway during the cycle which is frustrating :( my Nespresso sounds like it’s a rocket ship taking off for space. Makes awesome coffee but I’m sad regarding the defective frother :(

I really want to love this machine, but it gets harder everyday. We are on our second machine now in just under a year. Nespresso replaced the first one after about six months because we kept getting errors that would not reset. Turns out you can't use the Starbucks Nespresso pods (that say Nespresso all over the box) because it will reset the sensors and just stop reading pods. On our second machine signed up for automatic delivery of Nespresso coffee. We still get random errors after two cups almost daily. They usually reset themselves after a few hours or if I unplug the machine, but at this point it's more trouble than it's worth. Our second delivery of pods was so badly damaged the machine couldn't read them, but Nespresso did send out replacements right away free of charge . Love the coffee, but at this point not worth the expense of the machine, the pods or my time.

I'm on my second Next. The first one was replaced for free but now this new one has quit after 5 months. They don't seem to read the capsules after a time. I've wasted at least a sleeve of coffee trying to make it work. The coffee is great, but no longer worth the expense and frustration.

I loved the look of this machine and the fact that it could make carafe size coffee. However, it was constantly breaking down. I always had to reset it. I had to have it replaced twice. The second time, nespresso wouldnyeven give me the Next again bc it clearly wasn't working. I now have the Evoluo and it is so much more reliable! Not a single reset or issue yet. I would NOT recommend this machine.
