This model has Issues

I got this in December as a gift. Two months later it breaks and nespresso replaced it with the same model. The replacement was working great until today and it is dead. I contacted nespresso and they are replacing with a different model. Customer service has been fantastic so I hope this different model is better than this one. This model deserves one star but the customer service is 5 Stars!

Died in less than one year

I bought this less than one year ago. I use it daily, follow recommended care instructions. Within the last month, the machine had started giving the error that the head of the machine needed to be cleaned every single time I used it. I cleaned, rinsed, descaled, factory reset-- nothing worked. Sometimes I'm able to get it to make a cup of coffee, but 99% of the time it throws the flashing orange error and won't do anything. I see a lot of other reviews expressing similar challenges. I would not recommend this machine for future buyers. The longevity of the product is not there, and this model just does not have the quality that Nespresso claims for its products.

Broke in less than a month!

It was awesome while it lasted. Used it once a day in the morning made great coffee and then this morning wouldn’t turn on tried all the suggestions on the web spent time with Nespresso chat etc. very disappointed bought it less than 3 weeks ago

Dont Even Bother!!

After 3 years, initial vertuo plus machine broke down so I was advised to try this machine. Within a month, it stopped working and would not even turn on. Called to order a replacement machine and they sent a new machine. Within 3-4wks, the replacement machine also stopped turning on altogether! Luckily, the Nespresso rep was able to help out and recommend the evoluo so that it what I am waiting on now.

Same Issue as Everyone - Machine Stops Working

This model has serious issues. Judging from the comments here and on other review sites, the failure pattern is clear. My story is identical to so many others, first machine worked great for almost a year, coffee is great, and then it broke down and would no longer work. (Orange light flash and no brew). Customer service was helpful and replaced the machine, within four months the replacement machine stopped working. On the second machine we ran the cleaning cycle once a week and even descaled 2x in four months. Second machine won’t brew a single cup, called customer service and the are replacing with a new machine (Evolo this time). Stay away from the Vertuo Next, unless you are a fan of headaches and talking to customer support a lot.

stop working after 2 month

The machine had issue time by time for coffee making after one month from purchasing and completely stopped working after about two months. None of the solution online can solve the problem. The quality and reliability of this product is really bad.

Do not buy this machine!!

I have been a Nespresso fan for over 4 years with Vertuo plus. Last weekend I decided to buy a Vertuo Next, it broke within 3 days of use. So thankful for the Nespresso team who is already sending us a new Vertuo plus due to the inconvenience but future buyers please save yourself time and go with a different nepresso!

Don't buy this. It doesn't work.

I bought this about a year ago. It worked fine for the first three months, but even keeping up with the maintenance recommended, it became useless in about six months. I've followed all the troubleshooting guides, but I have to factory reset it almost every time I try to use it, and it eats up my pods in the process of trying to get it to work. Really disappointing. I bought it because I thought it was more versatile, being able to make a carafe as well as a cup. In fact, it actually does not make anything but a frustrating start to the day.

Don’t waste your money.

It doesn’t work at all. You have to spend 20 minute trouble shooting and then it wastes all of your pods and also it leaks all of my counter. Every time i want to use it i get frustrated and regret even trying. If it wasn’t a gift i would have thrown it out a week after using it. It is easier for me to walk to a near by coffee shop and get an espresso.

Buyer beware

My wife and I got ours as a gift a couple of months ago. Like many next owners we started having issues only a few months in. The design is flawed and internal parts breakdown quickly. After a few months ours started leaking brown liquid out of the bottom onto our counter. Please if you’re going to get a vertuo line get anything but the NEXT it’s not worth the trouble. The customer service was good and offered a replacement. Unfortunately for us they replaced our old next with a new one so I fully expect to need another replacement in a few more months.
