Even before, it was a pain just trying to make a cup of coffee too. I don't know if it was just the capsules I used but I did not enjoy the taste one least bit. The capsules are too expensive to be buying all of them to taste test just to see if I can find something suitable to use in this machine since it's not like I could use any other product than the capsules made specifically for this machine.

I've had this machine since November of 2021 and bought a limited edition model, it's now almost October of 2022. It worked great for a little while but then began leaking water into the space where the pod sits to brew coffee. Recently, after running a rinse cycle, it's decided multiple times that it does not want to brew anything larger than a double shot. I regularly use gran lungo pods and twice now it's brewed maybe a double shot worth with these pods. I'm nearly at the end of my warranty period with my current machine and I likely won't keep this one. I love the coffee it makes and plan to buy the Vertuo plus as it's got far better reviews and I have friends who own and love it. Save your money and purchase a different Nespresso machine than this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this model after our old one finally bit the dust. This one is so loud that you can't have a conversation while it's brewing. The compartment for the used pods is so small that I have problems putting my hand in there to get them out. There are other versions of machines out there are easier to use. I'm going to try to return this. It's not worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When you're a coffee lover, you know making a good cup of coffee doesn't need to be complicated! The Nespresso Vertuo Next makes the process anything but simple. For starters, the machine setup was relatively simple. The manual was easy to use and pairing the machine to my phone and wifi was straightforward. I was disappointed though, because I thought I could use the nespresso app to make coffee at particular times throughout the day. All the app does, is facilitate ordering more expensive pods and give a few trouble shooting remedies. The bundle came with a sample pack of coffee pods ranging from espresso sizes to full caraffe sizes and a glass mug. I will say, that there are many tasty options in the sampler pack. My favorite flavor, was surprisingly the decaffe pod. It had a very bold but smooth flavor. I love the way the Vertuo Next made the coffee look, with a thick foam layer on the top. I did however wish that the coffee when made would be alot hotter though. Despite the excellent taste and the perfect foam on top, the machine worked for only a week and then I got the flashing error message. After trouble shooting, resetting the machine and wasting multiple pods, it worked once. Unlike the first time, the completed coffee did have foam on top but it also had grounds in the mug. I am truly disappointed in this coffee machine and due to its short shelf life, I wouldn't recommend it.

The instructions were easy enough and straight forward. As a bonus, I ended up with coffee to try. So while this is a pretty cool machine, the coffee just spewed and splattered once done. I didn't enjoy it and the flavors for me just didn't taste good. But mainly the coffee was just a mess as it came out. Ended up giving the machine away to a local goodwill.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to try this, but honestly I'm not impressed. Even reading the directions I was having a hard time with the machine. Luckily customer service was very friendly and helpful. I was thinking it would fill the mug with coffee when made, but that was not the case. I also did a search to see where I could get more pods, and apparently you have to order directly from the manufacturer, that is also what customer service confirmed. The taste of the coffee was okay after all was said and done. The quality of the machine itself is also nice, but I feel this will be more of a secondary usage for me.

This is my 2nd Nespresso Vertuo Next. The first one leaked after 1 month of intermittent use. It's difficult to use when the orange descaler light keeps coming on for no reason and I've wasted more pods than I choose to mention plus they are expensive to do that. The machine is VERY NOISY like something is being drilled which takes away from a comforting cup of coffee. It's simply too LOUD. It's sleek, the coffee takes wonderful but I'm tired of wasting pods and being shaken out of my quiet time when I want a cup of joe'. That said, 5 stars for the taste of the coffee, 2 stars for the product itself. I'm going to look for a new one after I've used the rest of the pods. Really very dissatisfied especially when Nespresso acknowledges the maker is loud. Why even make a product that you know is disruptive???? Makes no sense. Sorry, just being honest.

I am not happy with this machine. When it makes coffee, the coffee is excellent. However, first and foremost, the machine is entirely too loud even by Nespresso's own admission. I want a cup of coffee for comfort and quiet time. The noise it makes disturbs the entire vibe. Descaling and operational use of the machine is off/on. My first one leaked, the 2nd one the descaling light comes on even after descaling. I have wasted too many pods trying to get the orange blinking light to stop and this is expensive. It works off/on and is not easy to use even per video and instructions by Nespresso. I'm simply not happy. However because the coffee is so delicious and smooth, I want to see if I can exchange for another one that uses the same pods since I have 26 of them left.

I bought this machine 2 years ago. It was working fine for 2 years. Eventually the handle become very sticky and impossible to open.

We bought the Vertuo Next early this year and from the beginning it gave us issues. The instructions are useless, aside from the fact that there was only a tiny paper in English it also did not contain important information, setup instructions or any maintenance information. It has not been a year since we bought the machine and it has completely stopped working. The unfortunate part is that when the machine does work, it makes a great coffee but whats the point of buying a machine that is completely unreliable. Thankfully we kept our old iCoffee machine which still works after 8 years and has never gave us issues.
