nothing more frustrating than waking up to a coffee machine that just sometimes decides not to work. sadly this is the case with this machine. a year a a half later, and descaling and resetting and trying literally everything ... the machine is about to get the baseball bat treatment. very unreliable and overly complicated to maintain

I am really disappointed with this machine. It stopped working less than a year after buying it. Registering the capsule is hit or miss so I have wasted a lot of money on capsules I had to toss. It also doesn't get hot enough. Ive spoken with the troubleshooting team and they are sending me a new one, but I don't have high hopes. Do yourself a favor and spend the money on the Plus.

This machine made great coffee. But the issues I had with it were more trouble than it was worth. Not filling the cup all the way, leaking out of the bottom of the unit, red lights, orange lights and then finally it just never worked again. Idk, maybe I should have bought the one that was designed in 2014 instead of this newer one.

Great coffee but totally unreliable. Wants to be cleaned weekly - really? Clean every 7-10 cups of coffee? Not particularly user friendly. And then it just stops working.

I have gone through 2 of these in one year. The first machine worked sporadically upon arrival. I was able to swap it out, however, the 2nd machine had the same problem and stopped working properly after a few months. I have 2 other Nespresso machines- an original and a Vertuo Plus. Both of those work absolutely wonderfully.

I'm on my third machine in 2.5 years. It's had to be replaced more than once annually, and I'm very good about cleaning it weekly and descaling it every 3 months. I have to commend customer service for the free replacements, but it's a hassle to have to keep dealing with getting a new machine. Great coffee, super buggy machine.

My first lasted 7mo and leaked water everywhere. The second works sporadically and need to unplug / replug in to brew a cup. It will brew and only a portion of coffee comes out. The coffee is great, but the machine is junk. Amazed they cannot build a machine that works. From other reviews this seems like a known problem.

I bought this machine in March 2021. Excellent in theory- the design, the size, and the coffee options. Also has an app that lets you know when to maintain it. Unfortunately it’s no longer working and I’m out of my warranty. I would choose another machine. I have the mini (original) and it’s a workhorse and I take it on vacation.

This machine has been the most frustrating of any Nespresso machine I've had. It was finicky when I first bought it, and had to be replaced, right out of the get go. Now, about a year over (a little more, since I'm out of warranty), the machine has stopped working again, despite doing all the "regular" fixes. Essentially what happens is for whatever reason it stops wanting to brew... you can clean the spinny thing, empty the capsules, re-fill the water, turn it off/on and nothing works. There's even a thing where you turn the machine upside down to get the spinny thing to become unstuck. At any rate, incredibly frustrating. My other machine (not Verturo) is almost 5/6 years old and is a champ. I think it's an issue with this model in particular. That said, love the coffee. Just hate that I have to get a new machine.

I wish I would’ve read the reviews before I bought this. Within two weeks of owning at the red light started blinking and it was eating up pods and not brewing the coffee. And the pods are not cheap.! Returning it!
