I bought this this week and I’m very disappointed with the coffee temperature! I love espresso but it feels like not fresh because it’s almost cold! Do not recommend

It brews lukewarm coffee. The keurig brews better than this. For the price of the machine and the pods, it’s not worth it. There are better coffee machines out there.

Like MANY other reviewers, we have not had a good experience with the Vertuo Next. When it works it makes wonderful coffee. But when it doesn't... Let me start by saying we only use filtered water. Issue settled. We went through 3 machines in 2 years - the first one only lasted a week. Each machine had the same fatal flaw - the amber light double-blink of death. After all cleansing rituals, descaling, factory resetting and exorcism, we would end up calling customer support and they happily send out another machine. This last time we "downgraded" (by choice) to the Evoluo and are very happy. Of course, it's only been a month! I would hope Nespresso would seriously investigate this problem, as it's costing them money! It's clearly a simple electrical component flaw, but it's a real thing. You know others are experiencing the same when you can find YouTube videos on how to fix it - or NOT fix it!

Worked fine for a year then started to get some issues. Les than 2 years and it is out of order. The same issues as other are describing . I was hoping for a longer use as we are only 2 of us and drink coffee only few times a week. Will try another model. Hopefully it will last longer.

I bought this machine 12/2020...My review is about the machine itself which only lasted me exactly two years. I kept with cleaning cycle 1x a week and descaling every 3 months. Despite my efforts to keep up with maintenance the machine died on my yesterday. It makes sound like if it is brewing but then a red light comes up and notification on my cell indicating the machine is not recognizing the capsule. I called Nespresso, and they will be sending me a replacement. However, I think it is time for Nespresso to research what's going on with Vertuo Next machines. It seems everyone that experiences an issue with this machine, has the same. Again my review is about the machine itself as I love my nespresso coffee :-)

Purchased first Nespresso Next Deluxe in October 2021, loved the coffee but the machine quit working in early December. Called Nespresso and after attempting to fix it by phone they went ahead and replaced it with a down grade. After 2 months they kind of honored the warranty. Used the new machine 5 months before taking off for a three month trip. Returned home in September and started using machine #2 again. 3 months later and Fast forward to now, after 8 months of use this Nespresso Next quit working. Called company again and again after attempting to trouble shot the machine by phone they decided this one was bad as well. So they replaced it by down grading me again. Not sure the hassle has been worth the good coffee.

I am on my 3rd machine. Great coffee when it works. First machine leaked out the bottom. Second machine would not brew. All other functions worked (descaling, flush...etc.) But, I wasted alot of pods trying to get unit to make coffee. If this Third unit breaks, I will be going to Keurig machine. We have a Keurig machine at work and it brews @ 10 pods everyday....no issues since we bout it 3 years ago. Keurig coffee does not taste as good. But, it brews every time.

I've had 3 of these now and the 3rd one's the charm. Both others start out great and within 3 months start leaking. The coffee is great, but the machine fails. I tried calling customer support. I would have like them to just replace it, but they want you to send it in to fix. It's easier just to return and try again. At least that's what I thought the first time. Then it happened again. Looked online and it seems to be a pretty common issue with this model. Tried again a third time. And it seems to be holding up, 9 mos now. But it does leak on the carafe pods and when I do the cleaning cycle? Ugh.

Do not buy this machine, it is complete junk. I had another vertuo that I loved and continue to pull out of the garage because this one stops working every other week. I purchased this one only because of the larger capsules since they discontinued the 14oz capsules. This machine makes a mess, somehow it back flows into the compartment that catches the used pods. I love nepresso but this machine makes me so angry. DO NOT purchase!

Bought the Vertuo Next after enjoying Nespresso at my sister's house. Learned L8r there are 2 manufacturers (Breville & DeLonghi); ours being made by DeLonghi (the styles between the 2 are slightly different). After 2 months of struggling with leaks, constant "unable to recognize pod" errors, constant rinsing after 3 or 4 pods to try to recognize pods, small water reservoir, clean up the leaks, empty very small used-pod container before the copious excess coffee leaked therein overflows... it's just a bad machine. 2 stars because on the rare occasion it DOES recognize the pod, it makes delicious Nespresso coffee. Boxing it up & bought a Vertuo Plus by Breville.
