[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it a month ago because I wanted a larger stand mixer. I definitely will have to invest into a shoot for adding dry ingredients. Overall I like the mixer but my tilt head mixer is just as good for my small stuff.
Bubbe the Baker
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a gift from my life partner to help me with my new home bakery. I love the mixer for its stability when in use, and the ease with which I can secure and remove the mixing bowl. My only issue is that the lift neck needs to be longer. It can be difficult sometimes to add ingredients during the various steps of making challah, because there is not enough height to the lift neck to get the beater completely out of the dough, or even to keep the beater out of the dough when adding the first step of ingredients after the yeast proofing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this stand mixer for myself as a Christmas gift. I've wanted a bowl lift mixer since I was 15 years old (a little over 20 years ago) This did not disappoint! I love the bowl lift vs the tilt head mixer as it will fit on a counter that has cabinets above. The mixer itself is easy to use, has great power, and the construction is sound. The only issue I have found is with the attachments. If the whisk attachment is wet or has been run through the dishwasher it then has to be rewashed before use. The wires come clean, but the top where it attaches to the mixer has some kind of powder coating that rubs off all over the place. To get it off my hands it takes a good scrubbing with Fast Orange, similar to removing motor oil. It makes it a bit of a hassle when trying to reattach the whisk and adds prep time to rewash and get it dry. Otherwise I could not have been happier with my purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used a Kitchen Aid tilt mixer for years and years. I think my husband burned up the motor as he was mixing the bread dough at a high rate, not a 2. We both like the new lift mixer but are still getting used to the habit of lifting not tilting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have just used a hand mixer for several years. At Christmas time I bought my bowl lift mixer because I was making 3 cheesecakes for the holidays. I was so surprised how much easier baking was with a stand mixer. My only wish is the the bowl was easier to attach to the stand but otherwise I am so glad I finally got a stand mixer.

My only complaint is attaching the bowl is a little goofy. You have to line up 3 different things to get it to attach properly. Otherwise love it, feels like quite a step up from the tilt head
New for Christmas
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this from my kids for Christmas and just love it. The only thing we have trouble with is adjusting the screw to lift it up so it doesn’t touch the bottom of the bowl. We have done everything to correct this with no luck.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace my KitchenAid K45-ss that I used several times a week for at least 20 years. I really loved my original mixer, but it just stopped working. Things I like...the new speed ranges, s especially for doughs. Things I don't like...the change in shape of the bowl. (Also, my extra bowls now don't fit, including my Commemorative bowl from 2000.) I haven't tried my accessories that I have...the shredder/slicer/grinder. Hopefully, there won't be any problems

My 3rd Kitchen Aid stand mixer. Quieter than I expected, nice 1/2 speed feature for folding ingredients. Not as powerful as I hoped and no wattage on box or in manual.
