Not what we expected from Kitchen Aid

The attachments have a thick coat on them that were already peeling when we opened the box. The bowl is 5.5 quarts but felt smaller. It was noisy when we ran it. The bowl seemed thinner than normal. The paddle didn't really mix anything. I was mixing a normal batch of cookies but I had to use my spatula to keep mixing the ingredients. I returned it. It just wasn't what I expected. We had a better kitchenaid in the past.

Not good for North Indian Roti.

Somehow roti's made from whole wheat dough prepared in this Kitchen Aid model are hard to chew. Tried couple of dough brands but same result. I was using Hamilton beach earlier, the product quality was not good but atleast rotis from it's dough were ok.

Why do I have to remove the attachment or tilt the bowl to remove?!

Great mixer BUT I don’t understand why I have to tilt the bowl and/or remove the attachment in order to do so, yes the bowl can move up and down but there isn’t enough clearance to take the bowl out without removing the attachment or tilting the bowl.. who designed this?!! 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️

Should be nicer

This product does what it says. It is good ar mixer. But for 500 dollars I would expect some quality control. Thr band around the edge has a sticker sticking out. There is paint overspray. And it is difficult to attach the bowl. Also, you can only kneed dough for 2 minutes at a time which is disappointing. I am happy with performance beyond that.

Making dough for pasta

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought approx. 3 weeks ago. Works good, except when making dough for pasta. Followed directions of how long and on speed 2. Stopped working. Plugged it back in one hour and then it worked. Have not tried to make pasta since.

Not all powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like to make whole wheat bread and I bought the larger more powerful mixer thinking it would be able to handle the tough dough better than my old one, but it still comes under strain and leaks motor grease through the connection to the beater. It does warn you not to use the dough hook over 2, but this was the regular beater on 4. The large size also doesn’t fit as well and small batch doughs don’t reach the beaters. My daughter does love the color. So I like it and use it often and for most jobs it’s great- I was just really disappointed to see the grease leak out which is the whole reason I’d gotten the bigger one. I guess I will just have to take it easy on this one too.

Need New Mixer Attachment Already!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the mixer 3 times since receiving it as a gift for Christmas. The coating of one of the attachments has come off.

Mixer attachment poor quality

The beater chipped after less than a month of use, white paint is flaking off despite hand washing it.

Old version better

I loved my old kitchenaid. This lift up bowl design is far inferior, in my opinion. It's a pain to get the bowl on and off. It was bought as a gift for me and I thought it would just take getting used to after years and years with my old one. I'm one year in now and still despise using it but they're expensive so I can't justify purchasing a new one when I've got a working one at home.

Terrible Delivery

Everything came good but I HATE how Target delivered it NOT in a Target box. Just exposed. Almost (and maybe did) ruin my Christmas gift. And they notified me probably 30 minutes late that it had arrived.
