I have been wanting a stand mixer for some time, but wouldn’t buy a cheaper brand because it is limited to a single job and couldn’t fathom spending the amount of money they ask for this. Well, there was a sale going and I had the extra cash, so I bought it. I wish I would have bought it sooner. I make bread weekly and this mixer turned a 30 minute mixing job into about 10, and if that wasn’t enough it also saves my poor arm. I have also used it to make mayonnaise; a 10 minute job that leaves me with a sore arm and wrist took 2-3 minutes and no pain for me! I’m excited to start getting the attachments to save myself even more time when I cook. It is well worth full price, I’d say and wish I would have bought one sooner! I have worked in professional kitchens before and have used industrial mixers and this mixer is on par with those in terms of build and power. The lift of the bowl is smooth and locks in the upward position securely. The attachments all feel very high quality and I foresee this unit lasting my lifetime.

Mixer came when promised and I absolutely love the color red. Kitchen Aid products are great quality. I have only used it once so far but I love it!
