Our old Shark finally wore out. After researching new cordless handhelds, no new model emerged as a frontrunner. However, the Dirt Devil Whole Home model seemed to fit our needs so we ordered from Target. After 2 days of operation, it's perfect! Easy to use and an excellent value. Well-designed and plenty of vacuum power. Quite pleased with our decision.

Wonderful little vac for small messes

I love my Dirt Devil! I use it for getting under the couch cushions and cleaning my car. So convenient. And the charge lasts a good amount of time!

My grandson is less than pleased if he sees a fly. This removes the issue, immediately, if while flying! Thank you.

Great little vacuum for killing spiders or cleaning up small messes. I think it should be prices closer to $40, however, we didn't want to wait for it to go on sale this time; we needed it right away. Other than that, it's a great product. Charges nicely, good suction.

I was recently gifted a pretty high-end handheld vacuum (a rather 'aquatic' sounding brand) and although it's pretty swanky, I might just like this Dirt Devil one better! Pros: Lightweight, powerful suction, long-lasting battery. In fact, I used mine for 20 minutes straight and it never drained the charge. Some handheld vacuums kind of get in the way; my fancy one listed above is kind of just one long cylinder, and that shape, although nice looking, doesn't really get into hard-to-reach spaces like under the fridge or up against baseboard). The Dirt Devil's design, on the other hand, features a long neck, which is super helpful when vacuuming a car or under kitchen cabinets and appliances. Cons: if you're an attachment addict, then this vacuum might not be for you - it's got just the one hybrid attachment (brush and a wand together). Personally, this isn't a big deal for me, as I tend to lose attachments instead of use them. Also, if you prefer a more modern aesthetic, then you're somewhat limited with this particular vacuum. It's not clunky or heavy, but it is relatively simple with the signature black and red branding that just screams "Dirt Devil." This handheld vac would be ideal as a more entry-level solution for someone just starting out in a small apartment, a dorm room, or even a senior aging in place. I'm going to keep this one downstairs in my kitchen for quick little jobs. It seems like it'll hold up nicely and emptying was pretty easy.

I can't tell you how happy I was to receive this for free to sample out. Out of all the sample I've tried in my life, this was the one I actually NEEDED. I have 3 kiddos who are incredibly messy but also have a hard time maneuvering our large vacuum. This is a game changer!! This is light enough for them to use and they actually fight over who's going to clean up. We have carpet in our dinning room unfortunately and this thing has effortlessly sucked up all sorts of food and crumbs. We also just rescued a tiny kitten who is quarantining in my walk-in closet. She also makes messes with her food and litter and this has been such a helpful tool. It's quiet enough that I can use it in the closet with her in it and not scare her. I've also used it for dust and cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling, random dried playdough, paper bits and all sorts of other things. It's incredibly easy to clean and fun to use. My only negative thing to say is that I don't like the waythe charger clicks into the bottom of the base. I wish it was built in so there wasn't any chance of my kids being rough and popping it out. Hasn't actually happened yet, but it's something I can see happening eventually. This would not keep me from purchasing though. I would purchase this over and over, it's such a helpful tool!

Whether in the car or at home, this handheld vacuum has become my go-to for tackling messes.

I've given myself plenty of time to get familiar with the vacuum and work it into my routine. Having a child and 2 shedding dogs this has really come in handy. It is the perfect tool to get the hair from crevices and cracks. I'm very impressed with the power it has for being so small as well. It works great and gets up more than most small vacuums.
