Thank you Dirt Devil Company for providing me with a Free Dirt Devil Whole Home Cordless Home Vacuum Handheld. That was very generous to allow real people to test your product! I really wanted to like the product, but the not-so-good outweighed the good. Positives: Putting this handheld vacuum together was very simple and I almost didn't need instructions - but I used them, of course! The weight was not too heavy and there was a place onboard the charger for the tools. Negatives: The vacuum seemed good at first. I started with crack that had some dust in them and then I started cleaning some grass by the door. It did not take long to clog the filter up with dust and dirt. After that, the vacuum would not pull very easily and it quickly ran down the battery so I had to put it back on the charger. When cleaning the filter, my hands got very dirty. I tried dusting my blinds which really needed cleaning. The handheld vacuum did get heavy quickly, but it did not seem to have enough power to clean and I was unable to seal between the vacuum and the blind well enough for the vacuum to suck. Again, the filter filled up quickly. I thought maybe it would be better for small jobs like a mess my grandson made with dry cereal. The cereal filled the nozzle and would not go into the body of the vacuum. I would have to take the vacuum to the trash and shake the nozzle. Another thing I noticed when removing the dirt chamber from the vacuum body - there was a lot of dust that was going to make it to the motor. The vacuum itself was coated. That cannot be good. That was after just the second use. Again, I was provided with a brand new Dirt Devil whole home 12V handheld vacuum and I'm sorry to say that it did not do a good job for me. I could not recommend it.

The suction was great the first time it was used and it hardly picked up anything the second time. Target won’t refund or replace.

I honestly thought I purchased a defective product. This has little to no suction. For reference, it can hold 2 pieces of copy paper to the mouth, but it WILL NOT hold 3. The battery life with a full charge lasted 15 minutes MAX - not 15 consecutive minutes. It is nothing like the advertisement.

Not a very strong suction at all. Only runs 3-5 minutes before needing charging again.

Hopefully I can return this vaccuum for a refund. After charging for a few days, I decided I had the time to get into some of the nooks and crannies I wanted to hit whilst cleaning for the holidays. Ran for (I kid you not) 30 seconds or so, before the light started flashing, and I had to plug it in to recharge it. (How hasn't a product so faulty been recalled/taken off the market?!) Do yourself a favor and make a hard pass on this one.... it's absolute junk.

Couldn't even vaccuum for 30 secs after charging this vaccuum for over 24 hrs. Absolute junk- falsely advertised for certain. Save your money and give a hard pass to this and any other dd product.

1. Suction power was horrible. I can inhale faster than this vacuum can suck in air. 2. The built in extension doesn't stay locked when pulled out. 3. Extremely loud and obnoxious. 4. Took forever to fully charge. 5. Once fully charged, run time was short, with performance noticeably declining through out. I was thoroughly disgusted with this product. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Broke twice and I had to get a replacement for both. It broke again.

It doesn’t work. No suction and can’t pick up anything bigger than a pea or it gets stock or send it back.

Super disappointed in this vacuum. It's incredibly weak. I spilled dry rice and it couldn't even pick it up. Also the nature of the collection container allows dirt to roll right back out onto the floor once it's turned off. After one use the filter needs to be cleaned as well. It's not practical. This thing is basically worthless.
