Small children usually don't have the patience, or don't want to be "touched" by a thermometer. With this Braun model, I can take their temp's on the fly when they are busy at play and aren't aware. Thermometers are a must, especially when children attend daycare centers, which seem to be filled with germs. The "no touch" feature is great because I can take their temp's while they sleep. The color coded temperature guide is also most helpful, as you can see at a glance when it's green it's good, yellow be extra observant, and red indicates a fever with the digital number readout. Very essential tool for children and adults as well!

It also has certain features like the light that shows you where to scan and the colors to show you whether the fever is bad or not and it's easy to use it's not complicated like most thermometers you see on the market.
