Now way to change many settings. It has a nice backlight to be able to see in the night. I tried with pushing the device to my head and away a little and it was the same temp. Pretty cool!

The no touch is perfect for me, it allows me to take their temperature without waking them up. I also use the forehead method sometimes and it is easily cleaned between each patient with an alcohol wipe. It is very accurate and is very quick. Perfect for at home use or in the health care setting. It is also light weight but very well made.

After removing the plastic cap it only takes a few seconds to get a reading from when I turn it on and then pressing another button with the thermometer picture. The confirmation beep it makes when it’s done taking the reading is not loud and never woke up my son, though I think it would be nice to be able to have the option to mute the sound. I read the manual and like that the background will change color according to the temperature. My son didn’t have a fever at the time I was testing him and the screen was green. I think having the color display is a nice feature. This product would make a nice baby shower gift for an expectant mom.

The easy on and off switch and use of AAA batteries is awesome. So frequently it is frustrating trying to find the button cell type. These are common batteries people have at home. Easy installation and well made. I can see this lasting a long time. Very easy to use.

The functions are simple but very helpful. You turn it on by the power button, aim the guild light and push the temp button. On the side there is a volume button so you can turn off sound. The screen will tell you to move forward if you are not close enough. The screen is also color coded, green for normal to red for fever. The thermometer uses 2 against batteries that are included. I love how fast it works, especially if you have a wiggly patient. And it's also comfortable to hold.

Fast and easy. You can get precise temperature readings either in touch mode, by placing the thermometer on the forehead, or by holding it in front of the forehead up to 2 in away in the no-touch mode. Great features and love the silent mode. This feature is great when kids are asleep. The thermometer display tells you if you are not holding the thermometer at a right distance. It has a large display with color coded fever guidance, and the backlight changes from green to yellow to red depending on the temperature reading. I am very happy with all the features and I feel it is one of the best thermometers I have ever tried!
