The Braun No Touch forehead thermometer is extremely accurate and sensitive to elevated body temperatures. It gives prompt read outs and can be muted for sneaky middle-of-the-night-sick-kid temp checks (because as a parent, those things are totally legit)!

I have 2 other thermometers which I have been using from last dew years but after I tried this one I don't even wanna touch the other two. This is super accurate and quick to determine the body temperature. Easy to use and very ergonomic while handling.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve bought a couple of these over the years but this one easily tops them all right out of the gate. For one, the tilted handle is a huge plus, allowing you to take someone’s temperature without pressing your hand up on their face, keeping flush with the needed area for accurate reading. There’s a handy little picture guide right on the front that tells you where exactly that location is. For pressing against the skin, the removable cap pops off and the soft rubbery support is super comfortable when resting against the skin. The cap can be a bit tough to press on or take off due to the design, but overall it’s just not a gripe I’d take away a whole star for. It’s extremely easy to install the batteries and operate. There’s a power button and a ‘start’ button and that’s all you need. The temp is almost instantaneous once the thermometer is properly placed and the red, yellow and green temperature system tells you whether you have a high fever, low grade or normal temperature. The large display will guide you if it needs you to do something (error for a faulty read, forward to prompt you to press it in place) so you won’t be wondering if you pressed the button hard enough to start it. Easily to clean and maintain, all sturdy non absorbent materials. There is a bright yellow light visible once it’s activated which can be annoying but the solution is to just not press the starting button before it’s positioned. Again, nothing I’d considered flawed since it’s yet another way to know it’s scanning. It’s both child and elderly friendly, all buttons easy to press, operated with one hand, large clear letters and the color system to help. Last consideration is the sound off/on switch, a huge bonus if you’re feeling sound sensitive when ill. Overall this is the one to get. It seems to consider all of its users across the board and the reading doesn’t jump around on the numbers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great no touch thermometer! We have school aged children, so getting sick can happen at anytime especially when they are in school. Braun makes great quality thermometers that give an accurate temperature reading. It takes less than 5 seconds to get a temperature reading. Temperature guidance changes the backlight from green to yellow to red depending on the temperature reading. The screen is large and easy to read. I compared to our ear thermometer and the readings were the same. So this will definitely come in handy at night time when I need to do a temperature check when my children don’t feel well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The current thermometer I have doesn’t have the mute option so every time I try to check my daughter’s temperature, it wakes her up. When she wakes up, she refuses to let me put it in her ear to check. I really like this non contact thermometer and the muted option. I’m able to check my daughter’s temperature without waking her up. The color coded fever guidance is really helpful as well. It keeps me alert on when I need to start worry about bringing her temperature down. My daughter gets sick quite frequently, so a thermometer like this is a must have in our household.

I love the accuracy and speed of when it let you know if someone or yourself has a fever. Also, I love how you don’t have to put it in your mouth or under your armpits. All you have to do is put it to your forehead. I would recommend this product.

You can turn the beep on or off when you’re checking children’s temperature. Nice big and bright screen that displays temperature. Not sure on the battery life as I just opened and used it for my kiddos.
