I carefully studied many umbrellas and settled on this one because of the very large footprint . 12 feet. But you give up some very nice features that is not advertised. There is no foot pedal rotation, which is much easier. The height, fully opened, is actually surprisingly low. If you are 6'5" plan to duck. The swivel features are limited. Tilt-only to block the sun. I regret this purchase and would go smaller with more features. Finally, there are absolutely no instructions -- only to open the canopy. For a high end umbrella, some limited diagram or instructions would be courteous . Darn , I bought the wrong umbrella, paid "up" for it , because it not was not correctly described.

the umbrella looks good but is not very strong when is fully open and the base that came with it is a total waste

Didn’t hold up with some wind. Fell and broke.

This order has been a nightmare. Package came opened. It was missing the crank handle. Also the proper base is 200.00 extra so beware. Very nice umbrella without those issues.

Produxt arrived missing the most important part, the base tube that allows it to be connected to the base. Very ANNOYING!

First time using after assembly and notice there is a small slit in the fabric that will no doubt into a large rip. Very disappointing for the money spent.

Umbrella didnt come with the bolts for mounting bracket. I purchased the purplleleaf water base and no bolts either. Appears umbrella did not come with wand to raise umbrella either. So far disappointed.

After opening the box, I discovered that there are no base arms included to put weighted pads on top of. You have to either screw the small base to the ground or buy the recommended base weight, which leaks from another reviewer. I bought the PapaJet plates for the base weight, but there are no base arms to put them on.

I purchased 2 of these for my back deck, along with the suggested water weight bases. The slightest breeze causes them to flail, to the point that one of plastic “arm/frame holders” broke. I am very disappointed that the price doesn’t match the quality! Will not recommend this product to anyone. They’re pretty to look at and have a small footprint...the only reason for the second star.

Our only option to get shade is an umbrella. We watched videos of setup and use and we never realized the weight & awkwardness of using this umbrella. When we unpacked the unit, we found everything supplied and a visually easy to follow manual until we had to use it. The manual doesn't impress the inner; hidden packing materials installed inside & up at the top of umbrella. So 1 of our spokes is damaged after trying to open the 1st time. I think it's unreasonable to show the packing material location on page 12 of the manual and not also visually showing it on page 5, 9, & 10. It would also be an easy fix to put a tag on a string or tape it to the pole directing users to the packing material. There are also some metal triangle devices attached up top that we can't find in the manual, no clue how to use them. All the reviews can't be from happy users, IMO. The unit is very top heavy and even with 2 people it's hard to stand it up. The mechanism that raises the umbrella is shown everywhere to be easy to operate but it's not unless you're Paul Bunyan. The sand filled base is extremely awkward although they do stress that it will be. So we are hoping to get use from the Cantilever umbrella but are in no way satisfied with the purchase.
