I am female, and it takes 2 to assemble. It is Teak wood, and should be weather proof, but I will still spray it with a clear water-proof sealant.

I got this as a Mother's Day gift and really like it!

Very nice benches!! The wooden support to hold the bench seat is a bit difficult when putting the seat down. I added a couple of coats of spar urethane and they look teak. Over all I am very happy!

We ordered 2 benches. We assembled the first bench with no issues. When we opened the 2nd box we found several splintered pieces of wood and we were unable to assemble the bench. We contacted Customer Service per instructions located inside the box and they were extremely helpful, eventually replacing the entire bench for us.

I had a screw get stripped out (my fault) and they sent me a new pack of hardware right away.

Easy to follow instructions. Assembled in roughly 20-30 minutes. Very sturdy , weatherproof seems good so far. I am pleased at fhis time with product.
