Not what I thought it was going to be. Waterproof is just a pouch with a zipper. A plastic trash bag works a lot better.

Don’t be deceived by the picture it’s a kiddy seat.

Product is well made but the liner is far from weatherproof. Ruined my Firestarters and kindling

Overall I really like this bench. The color is great and it's very sturdy. However, there were multiple chunks and splinters in the wood as were taking it out of the box. The whole thing really needs to be sanded and sealed. We opted for a cover so our kids don't get splinters in their bums when they get on and off, but definitely not impressed with the quality. Additionally, it is REALLLLLY difficult to put together. The pre drilled holes were not aligned just right making it very difficult to put together even with two people. I tried to contact the seller about the chips in the wood with no response.

This bench is pretty, but the whole reason I got it was to keep our outdoor cushions in. I measured them prior and compared to the stated measurements, but once I got it put together (a 2-hr ordeal with poor quality screws for the hinge that strip if you breathe on them too hard) the cushions don't even begin to fit. Worse yet, the couple of pillows that did fit got mildewy because the "waterproof" zippered interior leaks A LOT. Water just pools inside the bench on the top cover and eventually drips in and then has no way to get our or dry. How are you going to market a waterproof storage bench that can't even keep a couple small pillows dry in a light rain? Wish I could send this back, but the seller won't cover return shipping.

I had high expectations for this bench, unfortunately, it was not an "easy to assemble" experience. Three of the long bolts would not sink all the way down, since the holes were not drilled deep enough. The heads of the bolts where insufficient allen wrenches go stripped out immediately. Plus, the back framework cracked as I was turning down the bolts. Not going to send back, because if I take it apart, I would most likely use a sledge hammer. Will not buy this company's products ever again! Should take the word "quality" off their boxes.

I just assembled it today, and I already love it. The waterproof liner inside may not be 100% waterproof (though I have yet to see) because it seals with a zipper and moisture might be able to get in where the zippers meet. But this liner is completely covered by the wodden seat, so unless you get some serious sideways-rain that will probay be enough coverage to ensure the contents stay dry. It's DEFINITELY sturdy, because those bolts required some elbow-grease to get in. I'm a 124 lb woman with small arms, so I struggled the tighten them fully but I think it's a good thing - this thing isn't going to fall apart! Assembly instructions were clear and simple - I did it alone. The color is lovely, the wood is smooth, and the functionality is great. The roller device on the leg (which holds the seat up when open) needs a little coaxing and isn't perfectly smooth, but it's not at risk of breaking, nor is it cumbersome. My only problem is that I got a damaged piece. The seat has a LARGE chunk which has almost completely split off, just above the hinge (see pics). I'm very concerned that this will compromise the weight distribution and damage the hinges over time, completely compromising the open-close function. I've contacted the seller and requested they send me a replacement seat part. I really don't want to have to send the whole thing back and wait for a whole new one - that would be a waste of time, very inconvenient, and I may still end up with damaged parts in a new set. Hopefully the seller is willing to just send me a replacement seat part so I can quickly and easily fix it. Will update this review when I hear back from the company, and will change star-rating accordingly.
