I was excited to purchase this and as soon as I took it out of the box I noticed a small scratch where the paint was coming off. It’s tiny now but it does have me wondering if it will continue to chip. Also I was missing the shield that was supposed to come with it. And If attachments weren’t so expensive I wouldn’t have been upset as much as I am. Super bummed.

I loved the color and I wish that alone was enough to make me keep this product. I really hoped it was a good quality product like what you’d expect from KitchenAid. It was little things that really bothered me that made me thing that the collaboration between magnolia and KitchenAid was a mistake. The little thin aluminum piece that is on all mixers that shows the speed and the lock/unlock directions was falling off, it almost felt as if it wasn’t glued on correctly or sort of loose. I chalked it up to being a one off so I went and exchanged it for the same item but had the same issue. I attempted one final time but still had the same issue. Again it wasn’t a big deal but the amount of money spent on this thing I expect a sturdy well put together piece of equipment. After I returned the 3rd mixer I decided to read the reviews and noticed people have had the same issue and that the motor makes weird noises or it goes out after having it a year. I never turned it on, I didn’t get that far…but honestly I’d save the money and hassle and just purchase a straight KitchenAid without any collaborations from other companies that’s what I ended up doing and have no complaints with a completely different model of KitchenAid mixer.

I bought this mixer for my fiancé Christmas of 2022. By January of 2024, just a year and a month later (and outside of the 1-year manufacturer warranty), the mixer started making a very loud screeching sound. I googled solutions without luck. Luckily, I bought the extended warranty through Target and shipped them the mixer. They responded that they could not fix it and sent me a check for the price of the mixer (minus taxes and cost of the warranty). Very disappointed in KitchenAid. Most people say they have great quality, but we used our mixer mildly (at best) and it broke within a year and 1 month. If you're going to spend more on this color that adds no quality to the product, at least get the extended warranty like I did.

Broke after two years of minimal use. Made bread a couple of times and a handful of cookies. Something this expensive should not break after two years. Warranty only lasts a year.

Turns on but doesn’t actually spin. It’s as if it is stuck. What a waste!

I got a Kitchen Aid 15 years ago when I first got married and it has been great. I wanted a second one for my lake house and purchased the exact same version as I was extremely happy with it. I could tell the first time I used it that it is much lower quality. After reading the manuel and some research online it cannot even be used to knead bread effectively and can only be used on recipes with 2 cups of flour. I bake a lot and the point of a stand mixer is to do the hard work for you. Will not buy another Kitchen aid product and will invest in better quality products going forward.

After almost 2 years it just stopped working. It is not even that I have used it so much. Perhaps 20 times at most? And then this weekend while doing some pancakes it just stopped turning while I could still hear the motor running. I checked the warranty and unfortunately since I bought it exactly 2 years ago, it is not covered anymore by the warranty. Starting to think that is the reason they just offer 1 year warranty as they know after it can just break down? Too bad because the color and the appliance itself is gorgeous.

beautiful machine that worked great until it didn't. it broke (whirring noise, green sparks, burnt rubber smell) during the 4th time I used it. I got this as a gift for my bridal shower 1.5 years ago so I have no proof of purchase for repair. I loved it so much but it's now a very very expensive paperweight. so disappointed in this product.

I am a fan of kitchenaid products until I got this one yesterday! received it packaged badly and when I lifted the item from the package I was horrified to see the bottom which looked completely discolored and as a badly done spray paint job! I couldn't believe that kitchenaid is selling products like this, what a disaster from such a reputable company! so disappointed and wouldn't recommend!

This mixer is very poor quality. The lock for the mixer head arrived broken, so the head flails around when I try to mix dough. I've only used it once and will be returning. I expected better quality for the price.
