I can not get it to load

Program is easy to use and reliable. I've been using it for years for my taxes and those I do for others. The annoying thing is that Block plays endless games with pricing. Sometimes the program is available for $44.95, sometimes $34.95, sometimes $24.95, sometimes free. Why? Supposedly these are all special "sale prices" for the same software. It's ridiculous. Shop around for the best price on various sites and locations. You'll save money.

H&R has a great product but the installation process is a Royal Pain! I’m 75 and somewhat tech challenged. It took me almost 3 hours!

Even though my software installed without raising an error, that did not mean road-blocks don't exist. At one point in using the program, form 1099G, the program indicated that the interview wasn't complete for the form and a link was provided so I could see which forms were complete. I went to the that page on the web and it indicated that the 1099G was complete for those of us using form 1040-SR (the form I'm to use). The program installed on my computer stated that form 1099G was final. I attempted to fill in the blanks on my own and a road-block said I couldn't continue because I claimed the standard deduction in 2022. If the ''interview'' stops me from filling in the form 1099G, The form isn't complete and, therefore, usable. Something is not complete or it's been incorrectly completed. Maybe future updates will resolve this issue. Or maybe not.

I’d been using the PC version for as long as I can remember. It worked well. Switched to the MAC version this year and it can’t open prior year’s file because it was password-protected on a windows laptop. Clipped my wings right out of the box. I googled for it and it seems it’s been a problem for years on the MAC side.
