Can't beat the price that it sells for on Amazon.

So far so good. I was able to download it onto a CD so I can keep in case I no longer have access to Amazon, in case the need comes to have to reinstall. I suggest to record the activation code or write it down on the CD.I was also able to install the software without problems. I have not yet prepared my taxes, so we'll see, but so far so good.

I have used this software for several years with good results, however:Download instructions were somewhat unclear for we Senior amateurs, but finally worked my way through them.

As has been HRBlock's story for past years, the "official" supported-windows-OS is "Windows 10 or higher". Dumb/hands-tied marketing/advertising/legal-CYA statement, I can only speculate Microsoft forces the stupid incorrect (win10 or higher) official requirement statement. It installs AND works as good as ever on Windows 7. The zipfile .exe download will unzip fine/quietly using Linux "unzip" command (someone reported unzip errors this year?2023?2022? using windows, but my fileserver/storage-box is Linux, for which tax software will never run except using anyone's cloud solution (TurboTax cloud is pricey, but at least correctly imported my Fidelity broker tax forms). Yes, I'm still very worried that Import via broker-account-login will be broken-forever like it was in 2022 (which is why I had to use cloud last year, importing Fidelity data is the biggest feature for me). Bright side, the tax2022 file from TT cloud DOES/DID-today import nicely into this 2023 HRBlock Win/desktop software, so they haven't broken that compatibility yet. Holding my breath to complete my 2023 taxes now/jan-feb2024.

The product was difficult to install, as it was in a zip file, necessitating buying software to unzip the file, making the overall cost not a sale - should have purchased directly from H&R Block website.
