UPDATE: I can't say enough about this amazing vacuum. It cleans like no other vacuum I have ever owned. I didn't realize how dirty my home was. This is still getting hair and dirt it thought would be gone by now. This truly is the best investment I have made in ages. Bruce and I are destined to be together forever! He always finds his dock and has so far never been lost or stuck. Empties and goes on about his business cleaning. SO GLAD I BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT!Super easy to set up. I was concerned as Bruce seemed to wander a lot on his initial travels to check my house. First time I ran Bruce he did great. Really pulls up the deep down dirt! Cleaning lady was here Wednesday and Friday it had to empty once to finish. So it is getting deep cleaning done. Easy to empty tank and easy to clean filters. The initial meeting of my cat and Bruce under the bed was quite humorous. She growled and I heard whisking noises and here comes Bruce with the cat right behind him 😳. Very pleased with my purchase.

This is the first vacuum robot I’ve ever had. I did days worth of research before finally ordering it. And I love it! I found it easy to set up and it accurately mapped my home in about 45 minutes. I love the idea that I can have it clean one room or one area of a room. I have 3 dogs and a doggie door so they are always bringing grass clippings and dirt into the house. I don’t find the machine noisy except when it’s emptying into the reservoir. It depends how much dirt/how often you use your machine as to how often you will need to empty the reservoir. When it empties itself, it goes right back to where it stopped and resumes vacuuming. It vacuums row by row overlapping so it picks everything up. It doesn’t get the corners well, but I expected that. Now I only have to use my heavy vacuum once I month. This is one of the best items I have bought and am very happy with it.

Dang I am getting lazy --- got this thing set up to start at 0800 every day ... does the job ... it got stuck a few times and ran out of battery but not the units fault. A feature that does need to be added to these units is a notice to tell a human that it is stuck (just in case that human is close enough to rescue the vac) other than that it works great. I have 2800 sq ft house and by 1230 hrs its done.

Just received this last week, works great! I found out that is is exactly the same as the Shark model AV2501AE, the only difference is that model has a gold colored piece on top of the vacuum and this model has a silver piece. Other than that all features are the same. I saved an extra 30 bucks on this model over the other one. I checked prices today and they are almost the same, so, be sure to check prices on both models. Watch for delivery dates if you click on other sellers, some of the cheaper ones are like a month away, so, watch for that. Both models have the exact same maintenance manual on the Shark website.

We named our vacuum "Bubba" as we have 2 big dogs who shed. I took the advice of other reviews, and did a detailed manual vacuum. Then I run "Bubba" daily. You would be amazed at the amount of hair picked up. And it will go under furniture as we have hardwoods. I empty it frequentl and clean out the inside of the vacuum as some hair gets caught. Definitely worth the money!

After having another robot vacuum that would just head in random directions, I find the house mapping and row by row cleaning to be an excellent upgrade, it never really bumps into the walls much anymore. The cleaning seems much more thorough, not really missing anyplace like the random direction one did.It can still be interrupted by random small items like a cat toy or a child's action figure.The anti-hair roll works good but not perfect.The feature of returning to its base to empty or charge the battery then resuming the job works great.edit: even with the drawbacks, it's still a lot less maintenance and doesn't miss places, and the self-emptying is an essential feature, so I changed my rating to 5 stars.

I previously had a Coredy vacuum and that was not performing well. I decided I needed an upgrade and I did a lot of research on different options. I eventually landed on this vacuum. It had all the features I wanted and more! I am extremely happy with this robot. I have a home with two dogs that shed and this vacuum picks up the dog hair with ease without getting hair wrapped around the roller brush. This is truly a set it and forget device. The only negative is that because it’s so tall, it doesn’t fit under any furniture so I have to use a swifter to clean under my furniture. This was a major upgrade form my Coredy vacuum and I am very happy with this purchase.

I ordered this to replace a much earlier model Shark robot vac that I basically wore out. It was a wonderful and cleaned our large farmhouse full of kids, dogs, farmers and the occasional lamb daily for several years. Customer service was excellent, so I was confident to purchase this newest model to control the sand, cat hair, kitty litter and houseplant leaves in my current home.I received the vacuum quickly and it was well packed. Setup, including unboxing, scanning instructions, connecting the robot and starting it charging took less than 10 minutes. The app guided me clearly through every move, even though I am not very techy.After charging for a few hours, the app indicated that the vacuum was ready to explore, so I tapped the indicated place and the robot set off around the house. Within a short time, it was finished, and the map was very accurate. I labeled the rooms (drag and drop, took 2-3 minutes) and scheduled cleanings. I sent the bot to start cleaning, and it quietly and systematically cleaned the first couple of rooms, returned to base and emptied, recharged, and resumed cleaning.The robot rarely bumps into anything, and cleans very quietly. The base that empties the robot is a bit noisy (sounds like a regular vacuum cleaner), but it is quick and tolerable. So far no issues with my long hair wrapping around the brush roll, and the cat appears to approve.This device will help my house look spotless with basically no effort in my part! I don’t know how people live without one.

I can't believe what a great job this does. It may miss a corner just because of its shape but the overall coverage is impressive. It pretty much takes care of itself, I just empty the dock bin once a month and those takes care of the whole house vacuuming. It's quiet enough to run at night or when watching TV, it's even a mellow enough noise that the cat got used to it after the first use.

this is our first and it is a refurbished. I thought I ordered a new one but based by the packaging a plain box instead of a factory box. I we have it programed and set up so far it appears to be working well. It is a week old so not much to review other then it is working as intended. The Debrie that it has picked up is pretty amazing to see, we have 2 inside dogs and clean up regular, this is the main reason to getting the Shark.
