I purchased this for our baby that was having difficulty sleeping by her self. The movements of the rocking were smooth and easy to use. After the second night of trying it out she slept for 5 hours at night in it. This was a huge leap forward on getting her to sleep alone. Since then she has slept every night up to 8 hours without needing to be soothed. We only use the rocking and white noise features. We bought this as alternative to buying the incredibly expensive snoo after we had so much trouble getting our 2 week old to sleep. Best decision we ever made!
