While baby isn't here yet, we tested it out the cry detection technology with a baby cry on my phone and it worked!!! It gently and quietly rocked and vibrated. It says you can set custom modes on the parent mode, which is cool, I just haven't figured that out yet. It's tall enough to go next to our bed and still be able to see baby. I love the side pockets, plan on putting pacifiers and spit rags...in those pockets so they are handy in the middle of the night. You can also turn on the rocking motion and leave it on without the cry technology. We are expecting baby number 2 so hoping this will help us get some sleep! We bought this a month ago to prepare for our first child. We knew we wanted a bassinet to have by our bed. So we were looking for something that wouldn't be too big but also had some good features. The Sense2Snooze does that! It's not too bulky, lightweight, and has plenty of functions to soothe our babe when she's fussy. We originally had this set up in our bedroom upstairs, but due to my c-section and not being able to go upstairs, we needed to bring it downstairs It was very easy to assemble and lightweight to bring up and down stairs. The soothing features are the best part, rocking, vibrating, white noise, music...all things to help our little one fall right to sleep. So much so we have to wake her for feedings! We use the rocking for naps and then add the vibrating and white noise for sleeping through the night. You can manually chose the functions or you can have it sense when she is crying and it will automatically turn on functions to soothe your little one. We use both and love them.
