[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got first hand experience on figuring this thermometer out when my 4year old woke up crying and saying she was too hot. With her on my lap I opened the box, read the quick directions and put it to work! It was so easy! I love that the face is backlit, so I could see it in the dark. There is a yellow light to show where you are "aiming" the heat sensor. You can turn off the beeping feature/sound (which I did when I went to take her temp. later that evening while she was sleeping). The sound and face color indicates if there is a fever. She was in the yellow section. If there's no fever it stays green. I haven't had the opportunity to use it on food or water, and while I'm happy it has that feature, I don't see myself using it often now that my kiddo's are older. This thermometer is 100% worth it!!! Easy to use, non invasive and you can easily read it in the dark and with no beeping!

This thermometer is awesome in so many ways. Obviously it's best for checking if me or my family has a high temp, however, this one also checks the temp of food and water, which I love!! For checking people temps it's age adjustable. You just use the age precision button for the appropriate age of the person and take the temperature, its that easy. It has a protective cap and comes with batteries. I use this for everything in the house, I have checked the temp of everything and I love this. I will definitely recommend to everyone I know.

I need to know if the babysitter has one before I let her into the house. This Braun No Touch thermometer is perfect for helping keep my family safe without the invasive or slow thermometers from when I was younger. Not only does it work great to find a child's temperatyre, but it also measures the temperature of liquids. This worked great to test the temperature of tea and water without having to risk burning. Really nice design and works quickly. Also it reads in both C and F so it can easily be used by anyone.

But covid has changed everything and this is a nice unit to have in the house. It is preset for babies, children and adults. Plus it will gauge food and baths, so very useful. I did notice that it measures temperatures a couple degrees higher than my other no touch thermometers but not sure why that is. It is attractive and comfortable in your hand.

It lets you choose the age group, which you can save, and let’s you know if you’re too far away from the forehead. No swiping just hold in front of forehead and press the button. No waiting a certain amount of time either. Also, you can hold it above food and bath water and check the temperatures.

With COVID, I decided it was finally time to get a thermometer that gives me a true reading and a reading I can actually see. Wow… Compared to those old school thermometers I had to shake and could never figure out, this is a dream!!! It does what it supposed to do, and it’s easy to use! Easy, efficient… What more could you ask for!?!?
