Came with batteries too, so if you bought it needing it quickly, there's no worry about forgetting to buy the batteries. Only small prob I had from the start was the directions said to take off the end cap & I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to twist or pull the end off. Turns out the end cap was stuck in the packaging and was clear just like the packaging so I didn't see it there, so make sure you pull that out before you throw the clamshell away. Easy to take a temp reading with the click of a button, but seems to read lower than my oral thermometers. Didn't see anything in the instructions for an adjustment that may need to be made for forehead temp vs under the tongue temp??? Other than that no concerns, but did take off one star for accuracy concern. It did seem to be consistent in readings, just lower than it should be.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Braun No Touch 3-in-1 Thermometer has been a great replacement for our old traditional thermometer. I love that it’s a no touch style thermometer so that it doesn’t disturb someone that may be sleeping, as well as being hygienic and minimizing the spread of germs. The display is easy to read and understand, and the color-coded display glows different colors to indicate whether the temperature is normal or not. It only takes just a few seconds to get a temperature reading, and it has three different age range settings to choose from to ensure you’re getting an accurate reading. It will automatically shut off after 30 seconds of no use which is nice to have as it will save battery power. I love that you can use it to check your temperature, or even check food and bath temperatures as well. There’s a side button that silences the beep of the thermometer so that it doesn’t wake up your child if they’re asleep, and the protective cap keeps it clean while in storage. I am very pleased with this thermometer and it seems to be pretty accurate on readings so far. I would recommend it to anyone.

I love the no touch method as sometimes germs come in to play and sometimes we can forget to do a simple step as clean and sanitize. This helps in that. This thermometer goes for ages 0-3 months to Adults which is awesome that is a save in that end. Then it can also measure food and bath temperatures. Simply power on choose age group and point in center of eyebrows on forehead and press the temp button, make sure to continue to keep your finger on the temp button till it registers the temp. For Food and water turn on, press water drop button then focus and press temp button, again keep finger on button till it registers temp. I love the fact that it has all these things in 1 product. When our babies are young its important to be able to take there temperatures as they can't simply tell us. So this does great and does good as we need to have a good temperature for there bath as there skin are sensitive as babies and even toddler's maybe even in adults we are still sensitive in things. This does all for getting it just right and knowing what's going on. The thermometer is simple to use and has all you need to get started and very good clear instructions. You have a detail book and a quick get started paper inside. I found it very useful and good reminders inside to get the best out of the product and the best results. My children even know how to use it. My only issue was actually opening the area to insert the batteries. I could not get it open for the longest time it wasn't easy and then when i finally got it open it wouldn't close. It actually is broken in that area I believe because it wont fully close and so that can maybe just be this one default in mine. But overall everything else works great and just find. Really a good product and I love using it for not only taking my kids temperatures but my food also to get it just right.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall a very good thermometer. It reads accurately and fast, once it's started up. One of the additional features allow you to check the temperatures of other things, for instance if you are curious how hot your tea or coffee is or the milk in your refrigerator. The only thing which could be better is the startup takes a good 10-20 seconds because it shows you the different settings rather than letting you use it right away.

You don't actually have to put the tip against the forehead for it to read. It is very quick to get a response and it is color coded to make it easier to understand. The only thing I wish it had is an audible reading for the visually impaired. This thing even reads food and water temperature!

We love too that this allows us to test the temperature of bath water and food without having to resort to additional products!
