This thermometer does not give the exact temperature. It gives you an approximate & just lets you know if you’re in the green zone, yellow zone or red zone.

Tried the thermometer on 4 different adults. Got one reading of 95 degrees, two more of about 93, and the fourth person couldnt get a reading at all, presumably because his temperature was too low for the thermometer to read. It overall seems to be calibrated to read lower than actual

I don’t usually write reviews, but this thermometer is ridiculously inaccurate. My son had a 102 temp and then a 99 temp 5 minutes later.

I bought one of these for an exorbitant price during the height of the pandemic when thermometers were more expensive than gold. I'd done my research on Wirecutter and felt confident I was choosing a quality product. But The thing was so wildly inaccurate I thought it must have been a dud. so I filed for a, replacement under the warranty and eventually Braun, good to their word, replaced it with a new one. Well the new one is only slightly less inaccurate than the first. According to this my whole healthy family is running temperatures in the very low 90s. It is near Halloween maybe the ghostliness hasn't worn off yet.

This thermometer consistently read 1-3degrees higher than multiple other thermometers, and was the only one of the three to indicate a fever.

Easy to use however our child was sick we took his temperature using this and it consistently said his temperature was between 102 and 103. So we took him in to acute care and the thermometer. His temperature was 99.5. The dr. used multiple thermometers and compared to ours since we brought it with and this was running way higher. The doctor said throw it away it’s way off.

Horribly inaccurate. Doesn’t work at all. Always says everyone is the exact same temperature and when compared to a rectal thermometer is no where near true temperature.

Biggest piece of junk. Extremely inaccurate. According to this thermometer, I have a 94° temperature. This is the second Braun thermometer and it will be the last. GARBAGE
