I was so surprised at how quickly it read the temperature that I was almost positive I did it wrong. I pulled out my old handy dandy under the tongue thermometer to compare and the temps matched. Needless to say I will be tossing my old thermometer and keeping this one on hand. No more wrestling kids to take a temp.

This was so simple and easy to use so much better then other brands and simpler to use in my opinion. The green, yellow, and red indicator lights make it so much easier to read. That's feature takes the guess work out if it all. Let's you know to get closer to the head without touching it so this is a great no touch thermometer.
