It is much easier to use than the other thermometers the grandchildren bring with them. I was clueless on how to use them. The water temperature feature is awesome, it is hard to know if the bath water is the right temp just using your wrist.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first no-touch thermometer. I love how easy it is to use. Only a few buttons on the handle and they are all self-explanatory. When you turn on the thermometer, a yellow light shows where you are pointing at, so I can aim the center of my or my kids’ foreheads accurately. The thermometer even tells if you have a fever by age groups. I had a thermometer that required me to swipe it across someone’s forehead. It gave me different reading every time and I had to stop using it!

I really love where it easily lets me select the age range of the person I am testing as I have my young granddaughter often with me. She knows it will be quick and painless and doesn’t mind this anxious grandma checking her temperature. I also like that it easily tells me if I need to get closer for an accurate reading. There are three age settings that you choose before checking temperature. There is a diagram on the front to show you where to shoot the light for the most precise reading. Once in place it will tell you to move forward towards the person. There is also a water setting to check the temperature of water, useful for checking heat of bath water.

The box is well designed and very descriptive as detailed. All the part and instruction was very helpful and so so easy to understand. It so simple and easy as to setting it to the right age group and pointing it to get the right temperature. I also love that it can be used to check temperature on food. Doesn't take up alot spaces.

What is so nice is that it can be used for not only the baby but the whole family. As the baby grows, the setting can be changed for older ages. Additionally, it can tell the temp of bath water bottles and baby food later on. It isn’t just for babies and can be used for other items throughout the home - multi functional..

We have only used it to check our temperatures to verify it is working but each time it has been spot on, we used the old under the tongue thermometer to check it against. It was very accurate. It is also pretty fast - other ones that are the ones you put directly on the skin seem to take longer for readers than this one. The display is nice and big and easy to read. It switches to a different color when you have a fever - but we couldnt test that part. The only real downside is the size - it is a touch big.

It takes temperature in just seconds and can be held a couple inches from the forehead. The settings allow adjustment by age to help monitor fevers by Illuminating the screen based on both age and temperature. You can also lock the age range you currently need it for so you don't have to select it each time when you turn it on which is convenient. Additionally I love that I can turn off the beep for a silent reading when I need to monitor my daughter's temperature at night without waking her. Structurally, it is very lightweight and seems durably made.
