I was able to use the sealer and able to package and store the meats more easily and gave alot of room still to purchase more. The bags are frezer ready and the sealer is so easy to use. Just package, seal and go. The sealer works amazing. Highly recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Power XL Vacuum sealer took a bit of time getting used to, but it does work and keeps a lot of my vegetables fresher than usual. You line the bag you want to use with the sealer, push the type of seal you want, and use a cutter to cut it. I love the cutter! Then you work on the bottom. It is easier when you are doing it. After grocery shopping, I seal some vegetables right away. It gives me peace of mind. I have more time to cook. I have sealed it with steak and ribs as well. It brings organization to my freezer and keeps my meat from spoiling longer. In this economy, that is very important. Overall, this is a very useful product.

There are so many different sizes you can seal with this specific sealer which is especially nice. I like it for saving and freezing food for my family of 5 but I also am able to make smaller portions to send back to college with my college age kids. This sealer is easy to use and helps save money because I am able to confidently freeze/ save food without having to worry about it going bad.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use our freeze pretty regularly, mostly for large cuts of meat, or breaking up a 'family pack' into smaller portions. This changes the game immensely, having the vacuum sealed, it's so much better than my previous way of freezing. It is also kind of fun to watch it suck all the air out. I plan on getting a sous vide, so this will be very helpful for that as well, I'm sure we've all seen the cooking shows.

In seal only mode, the unit is completely silent and you are notified that the bag is sealed by the light going out. When you use the vacuum and seal function, it’s still fairly quiet. I love how convenient it is to separate meats that we buy in bulk, and how handy this is for marinating foods too! I have been using this appliance almost daily.

It’s compact and handheld and you can use it to seal other items than food. It also seals vertically and horizontally which can be very helpful.
