[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a wonderful device that does what it was designed to do ... seal bags and keep food fresh. It is a little bit bulky and large but it does seem to be doing what it was advertised to do which is keep excess food fresh.

It takes some getting used to and has a learning curve. Instructions don't specify which direction the bag should face but I could only get it to vacuum and seal if the bag faced a specific direction. Once you get it, it is easy and makes storing and freezing things nice and easy.

It kind of takes some trial and error to get everything in the right spot to vacuum and seal. I'm thinking I might just need a little more practice. So far, I've only used this for storing food to keep it fresh but I can't wait to try to marinate meat with it once I perfect my skills a little more.

The unit itself is pretty compact which makes for easy storage. The instructions were pretty specific, some color pictures would have been nice. It took me about 4 tries before I did one package successfully. It is fairly quiet and sealed the steak which will increase the longevity of the product.

I like the way it seals the food. This sealer is easy to use. Once l seal my food stays fresh for a while. I’ve used ziplock bags, but they don’t always work. My hamburger meat got freezer burned. With this sealer my food keeps its color and freshness. I definitely recommend this product.

I watched a bunch of YouTube videos and initially thought I was missing a piece because mine looks slightly different than the instruction books. Ultimately I realized it wasn’t closed properly and then it worked perfectly. Very cool product. Will be great for all the fresh fish we catch!!!!

No one wants to waste food and this helps to make them last as long as they can. I'm using this sealer to keep all my foods fresh or frozen until I need it. I use it for leftovers, soups, prepared foods for the next day's cooking, to freeze marinated meats, chicken and fish. It’s really easy to use. It has 3 settings. Vacuuming, Sealing and Vacuuming and Sealing at the same time. With the push of one of those buttons, I can achieve the task I need for the task at hand. It makes staking food in the freezer so much neater and easier for me. This also can be used for non-food items too. Keep manuals and extra parts together for anything you own. Keeps nuts and bolts together. If you take medication/vitamins like I do, then you can make your daily doses individually and not have to think twice if you missed one or not. This would also come in handy if you travel often. You can seal multiple things like your bare necessities for a plane ride or important documents if you're on a cruise. The possibilities are endless. This unit is very well made and comes with a manual. It's a small investment that will save you a lot of money in the end. I love using it! It comes with everything you need to use it. Machine, 4 rolls to make seal-able bags, vacuum bags and suctioner.

I’ve been able to bag and seal fruits, vegetables, sauces, and other food items that require longer storage in my cupboard and deep freeze. The size of this Nutrisealer is nice. It is big enough to do the job it needs to do but not so big that it takes up a bunch of space in your cupboard. It isn’t the most intuitive to use. I had to watch the instructional videos a few times. However, once I figured it out, it worked great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took me a while to figure out how to get this to both vacuum and seal in one go. Turns out, the instructions aren't super clear. That said, here's what you need to know: There's an insert that goes in the vacuum area. Remove that to seal bags. Make sure that the open mouth end of your bag is in that open area to get it to vacuum. If it is wrapped around the notches, over the vacuum hose spot, or extends out the other side of the sealer, it will not vacuum seal. The bag needs to be between the notches on the sides of the sealer side and the open end must be in the area where the insert was. That was the only way I could get a reliable seal.
