I’m so happy to have another 2” curling iron! This one is way better than my previous one. It has a nice tight hold on my hair (I have “normal” hair btw), and it give me the perfect size curl I want for my length (medium short, layered). It heats up super fast and is extremely hot when I want it to be and I can control the heat so I don’t burn my hair. I was pleasantly surprised that it comes with 2 extra springs, and a really awesome online warranty. I was actually happy using it for the first time. It surpassed my expectations! Be sure to use a heat protectant on your hair before each use tho. This baby is crazy hot! I burned my arm (I immediately went and out a long sleeved shirt on after that lol). Be extra careful. I love mine tho! So glad I spent the money on it!

Love this! Best curling iron I've ever used. I have medium/long hair (it comes to my bra strap in the back) and i got the 1.25 inch. It heats up quickly, stays hot, end does not burn fingers, the barrel is long enough to fit the length of my hair, and I really like the long swivel cord. I've had bad luck with curling irons in the past, for some reason my hair could never hold a curl even with the recommended products. This gave me great curls, and all I used was,a little hair spray after curling and letting my hair cool off for a bit.

Love how my curls look with the 3/4' size barrel. I usually stick with 1' but 3/4' was on sale. Glad I have it a shot. The heat level is perfect for my hair I need it to get very hot in order for the curls to last all day. I use the max heat level on this one and curl for 20- 30 seconds depending on how I want my curls to look that day.

I've been using these for years. I have pretty short, straight hair and have the half inch rod. Love, love love it. It gets super hot and lasts for years. My beautician tells me they are made to stay on all day like they are in salons. I believe they are the only ones she uses too. Comes with extra springs but I'm not sure I've ever had to use them. If I did, the iron was several years old and I use mine every single day.

This is an incredible product!! Definitely professional. If you have thick hair and want it to curl almost instantly, GET THIS AND NOT the Pro Signature series. I went cheap the first time and got Pro Signature, and it is AWFUL. Get this one!!

I love this curling iron! It is high quality, holds hair firmly, heats up quickly, has a long cord that swivels easily, and most importantly, it does an awesome job of curling my long, wavy, unruly hair! I bought the 1.5" barrel and it is perfect my my styling needs, which include styling my bangs and also straightening and curling-under my long, layered hair. When I accidentally dropped and broke my Conair gold ceramic curling iron last month, I was bummed and planned to replace it with the exact same model. I was disappointed that that model is no longer made and I was very reluctant to try a new brand or model, as I thought that one was perfect. Based on customer reviews, I bought this Hot Tools Professional curling iron and I have been so pleasantly surprised and impressed! Now I'm glad my old Conair broke and that I have this one instead! Where I previously had to go over my hair 2-3 times with the curling iron, I only have to go over it once most of the time with this one! This is a huge time-saver and easier on my hair. My hair actually looks and feels smoother and more healthy using this curling iron than any past model I have tried. It also came with 2 replacement springs, so if that was previously an issue, it looks like it has been addressed. Just be aware that this model does not have auto shut-off, so you need to pay attention and shut it off yourself or connect it to a timer switch to prevent it being left on all day if you forget (like I do).

I have purchased several much pricier curling irons (the Beachwaver, the T3 whirl trio, BioIonic StyleWinder) and decided to try this one after watching several people use one — Harmony Beus on Instagram, a friend that does hair for a living, etc. — and I finally figured out how to use a regular curling iron more efficiently with this one. The clamp is tight enough to hold the hair but loose enough to be able to start at the top and pump the clip, giving me more curl, better hold and bigger volume. I think using this will be baby steps to being able to use my pricier ones without feeling like I don't know what I'm doing. In short, I don't know what it is about this curling iron, as it's pretty basic, but suddenly tutorials and things I had tried made sense and I felt like I had a lot more control over what I was doing.

I have INCREDIBLY straight hair (we're talking it would pop the rollers off when I got perms back when they were in). I will also be the first person to admit that I'm very lazy when it comes to actually doing anything with my hair (the straightness comes in handy). But, I love curls. I bought this as soon as my hairdresser used it on me and it made beautiful curls, which she assured me I could do. Six months later, I finally decided to use it. Positive news: it worked really well and was easy. Negative news: I forgot to put product in my hair before curling so most of them didn't stick, despite the tons of hairspray I used when I finished. I fully expect it to stick around more if I put product in first and hopefully will give it another try before another six months.

It was July of 2013, that I bought this item. I used it about twice a week, when I wanted a bit of curl. Today it bit the dust. Not bad for an appliance that’s used frequently. Also noted that I’m not the easiest on my appliances (several times I have left it on all day and it’s been dropped a number of times). I have long hair (almost to my waist). I’m getting the 1” again, because my curls loosen up as the day wears on.
