Not worth the money I really wanted to love this product. I wanted to cut my plastic use with razors and wanted to invest in something that would last for a long term. I bought it based on the reviews. For the most part I don’t shave often my hair takes a long time to grow but after using this epilator my hair grew out thicker and doesn’t remove hair entirely it literally feels like it only cuts the tips only. I used it for my legs and armpits and I regret it.

I have not yet had the pleasure of testing this item, as when I picked mine up from the store I found it had been previously used and returned to the store. The box had been cut open and certain items unwrapped, the epilator itself had some stranger's hair in it. I have already reported this to Target Corporate and will return this item to the store I purchased from, however I would warn anyone purchasing this to first check that it is genuinely new before bringing it home.

All of a sudden it stopped working?? It was working fine not perfect but I don’t use it too much . I triedto use it again and didn’t work .Frustrated

I can deal with a little bit of pain… I have a bunch of tattoos in various different places so I’m definitely not a stranger to some sting. But not only did this hurt so much more than waxing, but it irritated my skin so badly that it looked like I had a rash for the next several days. If you have sensitive skin I would stay away from this and try waxing

I wanted to like this, however it doesn’t remove any fine hairs. The darker, thicker hairs are removed but it goes right over fine hair, which you can really see with the light it has on it. When I looked up tips on how to do it to remove fine hairs it says it should remove those the best but it doesn’t at all, and I’ve tried fast, slow, after exfoliating, and every direction. Seems to be a waste of money.

After 6 months use of the Braun Silk Epi 9, I have tons of ingrown hairs that I have to pick out with tweezers. I have fine Asian hair with no prior experience with ingrown hairs on my legs. I even prep and follow with a great skincare routine, clean, exofoliate, use AmLactin for strawberry legs and everything. I really gave this product an honest try to adjust, but it did not improve my situation. If you are prone to ingrown hairs, don't get it! The only reason I gave it an additional star is that it works well for my thicker hair on my underarms and is convenient if you do not shave regularly. I still can't justify the cost as it's damaging to my legs. If I could go back in time, I wouldn't have bought this and stuck with shaving in the shower.

It works great at the start, but stops grabbing hair after a while — and I’m not a hairy person at all! Will be returning for another epilator.
