My husband and I got this filter for a wedding gift and for 1 year LOVED it. So much more convenient than a pitcher! However, 2 weeks ago (shortly after the end of the 1 year warranty) we walked into the kitchen to see a HUGE puddle of water on the floor under the refrigerator. We were concerned that the freezer had gone out or the ice had melted, but were disappointed to realize that half the water had leaked from THIS filter! The same has happened multiple times since then, even when we took care to fill it only halfway up. We’re pretty sure that the seal around the spout at the bottom has worn out. Probably still worth buying, but be aware!

When it doesn't get stopped up every other day, it offers great water quality. However, IT STOPS WORKING EVERY OTHER DAY. Yes they offer an informational blurb in the box on how to fix the stoppage but why do i have to do this so regularly? Hasnt even been a month and 15x have I come home after a 12 hour work day to a trickle of filtered water and a FULL upper chamber of unfiltered water. The point of this big jug is to avoid having to refill regularly but not only do I have to refill regularly, but I have to waste water tossing out the upper chamber to get to the filter and unscrew and do the jig they recommend as a fix. Now that I type more, no it's not worth it.

The first one that was shipped had the tiniest little crack and was a real pain with small puddles on the counter - my second one has so far worked well. The other thing is that the water is okay - it’s definitely better than Britx but not as smooth as a Zero.

love this product ,it became useless due to lack of filters did this company go out of bussiness ???

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I took the PUR 30 Cup Dispenser out the box, there was pieces of plastic in it. When the Dispenser was removed from the box, it was broken, that's where the plastic came from. I put waterproof tape over the cracks, and was able to fill it with water. The water tastes better than bottled water and costs less. Other than the broken Dispenser, I really like the product.

Nice to have vs buying plastic water bottles, but leaks like crazy, constantly wiping up water in the fridge. Wouldn't buy again.

It worked great until it started leaking from the spout a month after buying it, with no way of fixing it

Was not too happy about the fact almost half of the container holds water that is not even filtered. It does have a slim design for the refrigerator which is great but I feel like it doesn’t take up a lot of space for not being all filtered water ready to use. The filter lasts a while but you will need to replace and could get pricey.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a good entry level product if you are wanting to filter Chlorine from tap water. I originally got this hoping it would be helpful with my city's reported high levels of Coliform bacteria, but was surprised to see, "PUR does not filter microbes" on later inspection. It does list 15 contaminants and substances it reduces, but I feel it doesn't go far enough to be competitive on what it filters.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the pitcher and this dispenser. This definitely holds more water which is nice. Filling is a bit of a pain since it is so big. I also had an issue where the dispenser handle was getting pushed by the shelf in my fridge. Leaked water all over. Not a huge fan of this, might stick with the pitcher and leave this on the counter or something.
