So it arrives with the blade uninstalled. I am not mechanical so it took some time to get the thing up and operational. After that it was quite good in terms of ease of usage. So much easier to use than the much larger circular saw!

Not as versatile as a battery powered saw but handy for small projects.

When I have the correct grip to hold the saw to cut and steadily depress the trigger in the bottom, my thumb even fully extended does not reach the front of the red safety button to be able to fully depress it to turn saw on. Could use other hand( not safe) but then lose the grip on the wood I’m trying to steady.Im sure there’s other makes/models that have better considered a woman’s hand size so will be returning this. Too Dangerous to fiddle with changing grip or using 2nd hand when saw blade is already turning.Other than that it does seem like a nice little saw

I needed to rip a closet shelf by an 1/8". It is what is is - a $50 handheld circular saw. I don't expect it to perform like a Dewalt or Milwaukee for repeat use. I am just a homeowner doing here and there stuff. I am a woman and unlike other reviews I found this very easy to assemble and use with the guide and I have never used a handheld circular saw before. I had no problem operating with one hand on the saw and the other on the board.

Simple, easy to use, does all that a circular saw does

It does get loose easily

Need to custom fit some furnitures in a temp apartment so I didn't want to pull out my full sized tools from home. Was easy to set up and was good to go within 15 minutes. All the adjustments were checked and tightened up. Would normally make test cuts on scraps but don't have that luxury this time. The included blade made two rip cuts for 3 ft solid wood table legs with ease using the included rip fence. However, while the product page says it cuts to 2inches, it cuts just shy of 1-3/4inch which is the width of the leg. (See photo for the rough edge on the last bit the saw didn't reach) Many reviews says it cuts 2x4s, for those who do not know, the actual dimensions for modern 2x4s are 1-1/2in x 3-1/2in. So keep that in mind when you make a choice for this saw.

Perfect for all my little jobs I have lined up - I was so tired of using a handsaw for all our coop building projects I decided to give this one a try. My first job was to cut a ventilation hole in the top of a siding shed. Sounds easy enough right? I marked the area rectangle shape in chalk and started my drop cut. I found for a woman the handle is too thick and my finger kept slipping off the trigger switch. It was also too heavy to hold up there single handed so I ended up trying to grip the area where the vacuum hose plugs in. But then it blocked my view of the front guide so my cuts were all over the place! Basically now I have to get to get a guy to come "fix" the rectangle for me which is maddening! I could handle regular cuts on a saw table just fine and managed nice straight cuts as it takes the weight off your hand/wrist and you can see where you are going with the thing. My wrist and arm are still sore from doing this 2 days ago. Please give us some sort of front handle to grip AND make the thing thinner for smaller hands! Apart from all that it does the job just fine.

for someone with small hands.. its really hard to handle .. no easy way to use 2 hands .. therefore its dangerous
