I cannot believe I've gone this long without a little handheld saw like this. Beats the crap out of my 10lb, $200 worm drive that I've had forever in versatility

I LOVE this mini-circular saw and use it ALL THE TIME on lots of outdoor projects. More than I though I would. Many tools just last one project then aren't used again. Not this one! I easily cut through a 2x4 but if I use something bigger, I either flip it to finish cutting or finish it with a hand saw. When I have to cut 4x4 wood my husband uses his large circular saw. This mini-circular saw is so worth it...ost of my projects involve 1x2 or 2x2 or 2x4 lumber or plywood-type sheets and I can cut them all in seconds flat. I also use it on PVC pipe and other stuff. Great, great, great.

I am a woman with average-sized hands, and loathed using my circular saw because my fingers can barely reach the various knobs and buttons and I was always afraid I'd cut myself, or drop it, or my hands would get tired trying to use it for a quick job. It's not a great feeling to try to find a man to cut something for you purely because your hands are too small for the tool. So, I had resorted to using my jig saw for everything, until I started installing 12" baseboard. There's just no way to get a good bevel with a jig saw, and mitre boxes don't fit trim that tall.Enter: this saw. It's light enough that I can use it with one hand, while holding whatever I'm cutting in place. The markings are easy to follow, and there're indicators for the 45 degree bevel for precise cuts. So far, it's cut easily through everything I've put it up to. So far I've used it for wood flooring, all the 12" baseboards in my house, and window trim. I'll probably buy a diamond blade and try to use it to cut a few pieces of tile. 10/10 would recommend for a female carpenter.

I bought this because I figured this is less scary that the bigger circular saw, it definitely is. I use this one like a pro and leave the bigger one for my husband to use. With this tool, I no longer feel like I have to wait for my husband to cut something for me. Love it!

Update 6-12-2020 I bought another blade for it and am just about done replacing my entire floor in my living room and kitchen 14ft x 35 ft. This saw has cut through 2 layers of linoleum, glue, and 3/4 inch OBS like a champ. I wish this was around 40 years ago when I was helping my father remodel the houses we lived in. I am really just astonished what a beating this little saw takes and just does not skip a beat. Just a amazing purchase hands down. I bought this September of 2017 to cut out a section of flooring in my bathroom to replace in my trailer. It was a very tight space but I needed to be careful how deep I went so this fit the description. This saw chewed it right up like it was nothing and I completed the job in one day no problem. Over the next two years I used it for other projects but the last month I abused this thing like no other. I ripped up my bathroom floor, hallway, part of my bedroom, and half my kitchen to replace all the grey pipe with PEX and this little saw was a life saver. Up tight on the walls, easy control, beautiful lines, what more could you ask for. My last job before winter is the front door and floor in front of it but it will be a piece of cake with this. Even after all that it still looks like I bought it last week and that shows how well it is made. I highly recommend this if you are looking for a smaller Circular Saw.

Very easy to use and makes projects go faster. Way better than a bulky circular saw.

This saw is so compact, and yet able to cut through 2x8 lumber like butter. It is easy to operate one handed and has a very smooth cutting ability. It adjusts easily for different thicknesses and can also do angles. Installing the blade was very simple and the measuring guide is very handy for straight, perfect cuts. The only downsides are that it is extremely loud so earplugs are a must. And the vacuum attachment feature to suck up sawdust is very awkward to use, although I love the idea and appreciate the lack of mess. Finally the hilt is just a little too fat for my female hand even though I got the narrow hilt model. I can just barely reach the safety button with my thumb and engage the trigger with my fingertips at the same time. Despite those drawbacks, I absolutely love this saw and would highly recommend it. I would also highly recommend Worx as a brand since their quality is excellent and their tool designs are very clever with little extras built in.
