Perfect for finishing my project. My regular circular saws are to big and unwieldy for where I had to reach. I also had to start with a plunge cut. I set up a straight edge for a guide and a couple minutes later I was done. Cut through 3/4” oak like butter. Plenty of power and light enough to handle with ease. Great addition to my tool collection.
Wonder Niecey
I have an old circular saw I dug out of the dark spaces of my storage to cut a few boards. Unspeakable things must have happened to it because it didn't work as it should. I was afraid of working on it, and trying to figure out what is wrong. (Dumb, I know.) Then I needed to build a custom ramp for my aging dog and a few other things, and I didn’t want to pay my local Home Depot guys to make all the cuts. Besides they get really judgy about what I make and why, so I started researching the smaller saw options. I settled on this option because I have other Worx tools and I really like them, and everyone who purchased this one liked it too. So I went for it.I am glad I did. It is heavier than I expected, which only means I am not a threat to others, only 2x4’s or smaller. I can still handle it just fine, and has cut everything I have needed to cut easily and quickly. Thank heavens, because when I my mostly ok dog ramp decided to wobble and traumatize my poor 16year Chihuahua, I had to hurry up and cut some side supports and a stabilizing bar to keep the ramp from doing the splits. (I might have to rethink my use of hinges.) I would definitely purchase this product again, and would suggest anyone else who wants a small utility saw to purchase this model. (I also will not be mass marketing my dog ramp this year. I have a few kinks to figure out.)
