This thing is total crap, got it today and decided to do my own test based on the up and down reviews. Put 2 plastic bottles that were filled with water then fully frozen, and one bowl of ice cubes at 10 am into this. Shut it tight and left it outside in the shade until 5pm to replicate a camping experience. When opened after only 7 hours, the ice cubes had melted 100% and the 2 ice bottles had melted 60%. Not sure how there are 5 star reviews, Amazon really needs to do something about fake reviews.

The cooler seems well made and sturdy but it fails it's basic mission... keeping ice. I tested it for the type of use I would require. I did not pre-cool or stuff it full of ice. I put a bag of ice in it with bottles of water. I did the same with a Coleman Extreme I already had. After 36 hours sitting in my hot Texas garage, about 80% of the ice was gone in the Landworks cooler. The Coleman had lost about 50%.Maybe if I pre-cooled the Landworks it would have held ice longer but that is probably also true for the Coleman. I think moist people do what I do, grab a a cooler, throw in your food and drinks, and toss in the ice. If there is no benefit in having a much heavier and expensive cooler, then why bother. Returning the cooler.
