Liked the fit. Don't go any smaller than you normally wear.

I wear 2-3 layers under this vest and 1 sherpa hoodie over it. Because of this, I don't believe I'm taking full advantage of the heated areas of the vest. That being said, I think the vest works as described. In 25-35 degree weather, I can leave it on low setting to help fight the cold while lasting almost the entire work day. If you are in construction and constantly moving around, this will work nicely for you. If you are not moving at all, you may want to get a second battery to keep the vest on high for a 6hr period. At some point I'm going to try out the vest underneath more layers. The battery in the side pocket is almost unnoticeable. The neck doesn't get noticeably warm but I also don't zipper the vest up all the way.

I love this vest! Our winters in upstate NY aren’t that cold anymore (one upside to climate change, I guess) and being able to turn this thing on, throw it on and go outside, is SO handy! Walking the dog, driving until the car warms up, clearing the driveway, etc etc. this thing is perfect. I did buy an extra battery, so I’m never caught without juice.

I bought this as a gift for my husband. He is often cold, especially after working outside all day in the colder months. He wore this both in and out of the house nearly 24/7. My hard to gift husband thought this was a home run.

Like the heat around your neck

I rarely write product reviews, but I felt compelled to do so, for this fantastic vest! I read some negative comments about the battery, but I found it charged fast enough, and while it is relatively heavy, it does not feel uncomfortable to me, whatsoever. The vest heats up significantly faster than I expected and it gets quite hot on the highest setting (red). It has three heat settings, which I have found are perfect for various activities and environments. I ordered the vest in medium, based upon the product note stating the pictured model was wearing medium; it fits me perfectly. I am 6’ 1” and 175lbs. I have only used this vest a few times at this point, so I am curious to see how well it holds up, but as of this moment, I am extremely satisfied and would recommend this product to anyone.

Works beautiful for someone working outside! Comfortable and light weight.
