Batteries just over 2 years old and won't hold a charge

We bought two vest, one for my wife and myself. Dec of 2019, wore them maybe 5 or 6 times, wife even less, now the batter won't hold a charge for even overnight... Per company you need to recharge ever 3-6 months, and remove from vest when not using for a long period. However no instructions that says that. The vest itself is great when the batter was working... now I have to purchase two more batteries...

LOOK AT THE SIZE CHART VERY CAREFULLY!!!!

Vests build for dudes with bellies. Don't look at the size chart for your body. Look at the chart for the vest itself! Bought a large, it was huge. Exchanged for medium, almost just as huge! Why oh why would your charts say to buy a Medium if you have a 35in waist when the medium vest itself has a 45in waist?!?!?! How does that make any sense? None of these sizes would possibly fit me. The neck heater is great! You feel it all the time. But the vest is so wide that you can't feel the back and front heaters AT ALL unless you put your hands in the pockets and push the vest forward. And by doing that you open up a huge hole for all the cold air to get under your new vest thats supposed to keep you warm. Trust me guys, if you're not fat, look at the women's sizes. They "might" work for you. I ended up trying a medium in women's and its better. Still a bit wide at the base but better than any of the men's sizes.

Does not have enough heating elements. .

Find one that covers more space with more elements.

Size way off

I ordered a larger size than normal and it wasn’t even close to fitting. Not happy.

High expectations not met

I was really excited about this vest. I've been wanting one for about a year and did a lot of research. I finally pulled the trigger on the Ororo because of the look, and the high number of positive reviews. The fit and finish of the vest were nice and it fit me as expected (I'm 6'4" and 212 lbs. and ordered a XL). Once the battery was fully charged, I put the vest on while in my home. I had it on high expecting to get uncomfortably warm. However, after 20 or so minutes, I could tell the heating elements were warm but they were not making my body warm. The only element the felt "hot" was the neck. The element across the back was warm too, but not as warm as the neck. The elements in the front pockets were barely room temperature. I used my thermal gun to check the temps. Inside the pockets were <98 degrees, the element across the back was <100 degrees and the neck was 116 degrees. This was on the high setting. The product description said it will get over 130 degrees on the high setting. In my case, even the hottest element did not reach that temperature. Thankfully Amazon returns are crazy easy, so sending it back and getting a refund was quick and painless. I am disappointed that it did not work as well for me as it has for others. Oh well, I'll just have to wear more layers while at the soccer fields this winter.

Don't like the 7V battery pack and a special plug to vest

This vest works but you need to select smaller size to make tight fits inner to your cloth to get warmer at the low setting. mid and high setting won't run whole day for one charge. You can't buy standard 5V battery pack for much less of cost, say $20 for the same capacity . I don't like the 7V power pack voltage and odd plug to the vests. You only can by their battery pack product, which costs $60+. Then can design to use standard 5V and usb power pack but they are not.

Extremely Disappointed

I read about a 1000 reviews about this heated vest and others. Lots of good reviews for this one. I’m providing this review knowing that there are anomalies and sometimes a great product does not perform correctly or as expected. It happens. I’d like to think that this was just an anomaly, but I don’t know now considering my experience. I got the vest and it was clearly new in packaging. It was packaged very well. They even had the fancy plastic wrapping around the power bank in its nice new box. There was twist tie around the cord. Nice tags and packaged instructions that describe the product and how to use it we’re contained within a nice carrier for the whole product. Unfortunately, after following the directions, the vest simply did not heat up anywhere near how the reviews or instructions said it would. After fully charging the power bank, and after the prescribed preheat period, on high, the areas around the heating element were only slightly warmer than the material around it where there weren’t heating elements. The collar had the warmest element, but still even it never warmed to the temperatures advertised in the instructions and described in the reviews. The other elements you could only barely feel as being warm with the palm of your hand. Warm is almost too strong a word. Tepid at best… I figured I just got a bad one. It happens even with great new products. I returned it and got an exchange without any issues. The “new” one showed up. It was OBVIOUSLY a returned one that was likely worn already. The vest was dirty and it was not wrapped in plastic. It literally had dirt and scuff marks on it from the previous owner. The tags were already taken off of it including the tag that states that the return would not be accepted if that specific tag was removed. Obviously not… The boxes containing the wall plug and power bank were damaged from someone opening it before and had both dirt and some greasy substance on them. Soooooo… Very disappointed. Sending it back in hopes that Ororo will reach out to me to make good on their product. I know that this happens at times when dealing with Amazon, but issues like this should at least be brought to the attention of Amazon and the manufacturer to limit their occurrence and make the customer whole. Fingers crossed... I will update if there is some resolution.
