I purchased this product because I wanted a Vest to keep my dad warm since heβs diabetic and older. Heβs cold most of the times. Heβs used it during the winter and spring, he loves it it. Mission accomplished.

This vest is awesome! It gets nice and warm and is Very good looking and comfortable! I found that the 6' 2" tall thin (40 year old) man in my family needed a size Medium. Whereas, the 5' 10' (60 year old) man, who is not at all fat but has a thicker waistline, needed the size Large. My family like the vests so much that I got 2 men's vests and 5 women's vests for the ladies! The ladies vests fit well as sized. Two of the ladies wear their vests everyday since their office is very chilly. My granddaughter says the vest is "life changing" because she is always cold and now has that wonderful warmth. One of the ladies raises horses and she no longer dreads the early morning and late night cold when its time to care for the horses. She loves the light on the jacket bc she can see better in the barn at night Another of my daughters loves the light to help her see the door keyhole and when she walks through dark areas. ! They all went skiing for New Years and said the vests made them feel wonderful in the freezing Vermont weather. My granddaughter called me and told me that yesterday she that was in the freezer at the Costco club when she realized that someone from her work was standing outside the door who had just gotten fired. She didn't want to embarrass him so she turned on her heated vest and waited in the freezer until he left! These are the best gifts I ever gave my family!

Ok, so like many people I read must the reviews before ordering and they are all different. So here were I stand. I'm 5"8 150lb and I got a medium mens vest. The zipper is on the right side and it fits a little loss. Which is perfect for me. I wear it over my work shirt and under my work jacket. I'm a technician at a gm dealership so I got the vest because it doesn't have sleeves. Which means no fluids getting all over the sleeves. I've been working in 32%f the last 3 days and have tried the vest on all 3 settings. High was to hot for me. Medium was great in the morning but once I started moving around it was to hot. I just set it on low now, and its perfect all day. On just low the battery last me 10hrs atleast. This vest also holds heat in very well on or off. I seriously couldn't believe the difference it makes. So far its holding up very well considering what I do all day. I really don't notice the battery nor does it get in the way. However it is kind of big. But it has it's own pocket in the inside left of the vest. O yea, the heated neck is to die for. All in all this vest is amazing so far.

I had been wanting to purchase one of these but just could not "pull the trigger" due to the cost. There were other less expensive vests but none had the heater in the neck. A daughter-in-law came over one day wearing hers and she loved it. I test drove Dad's before giving it to him and wanted to keep it for myself but knew it was the perfect gift. His response after asking him if he liked it after a week, "What do you want in the Will? You name it, it's yours!"

I love this vest. I have always been cold outside, since I've been a child. I should have had one of these many years ago. It has transformed my ability to be outside in the cold for any length of time. I honestly thought this might be gimmicky; but really, this is a lightweight, warm vest. Many times I end up shutting it off once I've gotten toasty. What are you waiting for? Get one!

I purchased three of these for myself and family members. They work flawlessly. When used on High they lasted about 3.5 hours but held warmth even after that. Medium was well over 5 hours but I did not fully deplete the battery so I assume it will last close to the claimed 6 hours. I was worried about the battery pack being heavy but to be honest I didn't notice it. I now also wear this for all cool night outings and smile as everyone else is freezing asking about my Iron Man vest.

Purchased for my husband, he is delighted with it. I ordered the vest with battery. The battery arrived with the vest but charger did NOT. When I contacted Ororo customer service they responded promptly and sent the charger. However, I ordered a charger thru Amazon before I realized the charger should have come with it so I am returning it. It should be noted on the web site the charger is included.

My husband is always cold (and complaining about it!). I got him this vest and also an Ororo heated jacket for his birthday. He is in one or the other almost constantly, indoors and out. This is the first time in as long as I can remember that he has not complained about the cold. He even stays warm in these without the heating feature, through that is likely to change when the winter really sets in. Bottom line: You couldn't get a better vest/jacket to protect from the cold.

Only had this for one day, but I am wildly impressed. If things go wrong in the future I'll update. Here are a few observations. I'm 5'9" and 170 pounds. Kind of a slim build. I ordered the large and it fits perfect. I think if you've got any type of gut, or big chest you'll want to go larger. The construction is very well done and has a nice feel. It's lightweight and fits under my jacket without feeling bulky. Plus, it looks good. You won't be afraid to wear this in public. The charging process was sort of confusing to me. Here's what I discovered. The battery itself has four pinholes on it, which I later discovered are lights that indicate the charge. The instructions are typical overseas weird. When you plug it in, the charger unit itself lights red. Eventually it goes green letting you know its charged. I still had no lights on the battery and was concerned. In order for those lights to light it needs to be disconnected from the charger and SHAKEN (?!). I don't understand, but thats when the four blue pinholes on the battery activate. Yesterday was cold, but not crazy Montana cold. But in its first day out it warmed up nicely. Units on the back and chest, and collar. I particularly like the collar to keep my neck warm. My only very minor complaint is that the insignia on the left breast lights up while in use either red, white or green. I'm sure it will lead to questions about whether I'm from the starship Enterprise. But I can live with the joking, as long as I'm warm.
